I hope that this isn't a preview of coming attractions like the one in the southwest pacific from a few days ago. The sun has gone suspiciously quiet and some quake prediction sites warn people in any vulnerable areas to be on guard. I'm trying to remember where I put the tent /S

It would be a shame if they needed Alberta oil and gas and couldn’t get any because there is no pipeline.

Now four! 6.6, 6.8, 6.5, and a 4.9. The first three were 10-11 KM deep.

Nah, no big deal. We’re all awake and commenting at same time. Looking around the Internet and appears no one even felt them.

While those sound big, they aren’t the big one by any means.
Who knows what forces they may unleash though, distant on the same general fault lines, say down into California.

I went to the link and it’s a blank page - how far off the coast were these?

I have some BC streaming radio stations on line. They mention the events, of course, but no damage reports at this time.

Will have to talk to my kids who just moved to Vancouver to see if they felt anything.

Vancouver (~450 km from the epicenters) has about (aboot*) 30 reports of mild shaking. Most everybody could sleep right through that.
It’s OK, I’m originally from SK, so I’m only picking on myself. Hahaha

Precisely my thoughts. Release a little stress here, maybe build up a little stress farther down the fault line.

150 miles off shore it's not likely to be felt by many but you never know.
