WASHINGTON – President Trump plans to hold 11 campaign rallies in seven states in the run-up to the midterm elections.
The president’s schedule includes stops in Florida, Georgia, Missouri, Montana, Ohio, Tennessee and West Virginia.

I agree. I would think that Marsha Blackburn is safely enough ahead of Bredesen now that a visit to Tennessee could be scratched and Pennsylvania put on as a replacement. Having Barletta in the Senate would be wonderful.
I agree. James can win if he gets some immediate support. I threw his campaign a C-note last weekend. I believe he is one of our best candidates.

Yes, indeed, sending a winning signal from a critical battleground state like Michigan is crucial in establishing a foothold for 2020!!!
The least that we can do is to tell as many conservatives as possible in our communities how important these elections are. Vote like our lives depend on it.
I didn’t know, of course, that you had a week in the hospital. Hope you are getting back to your old self again. Don’t rush things-—it takes a lot out of someone to be in the hospital as my wife found out.
One tip: Try to reduce stress from reading posts by annoying people like me. Hope that isn’t true. I try to be harmless.

Maybe the reason that the party in power usually loses the midterms is because of the sitting president playing a very low-key role in the elections. I’ve never seen a president campaign but for only sure thing candidates in safe districts of states.

Most frustrating part of my situation is that the doctor who performed my surgery/procedure diagnosed me with one ailment while his associate in the same practice (and a doctor who has previously treated me) disagreed with both the former diagnosis as well as questioning the course of treatment that the hospital had not taken. I now have another procedure to undergo in a couple of weeks on an out patient basis and am otherwise merely trying to heal myself through online research and some trial-and-error experimentation gleaned from various suggestions.
I hated being cooped-up in the hospital with all the assorted physical limitations, not to mention not having any quality internet access and not having a handful of my favorite tv channels.
BTW, I enjoy reading many of the posts here on FR and found yours quite harmless and anything but annoying.

Unfortunately, Colorado’s been a lost cause since it became a suburb of California. Trump lost Colorado in 2016 by about five points and it’s not looking good for the GOP in 2018.
It’s more than ironic that Trump, who’s been opposed by the GOP “leadership” since he first declared, is doing more for the GOP than anyone in recent memory.

Just one thought: I am as questioning as anyone about doctors and what they think is helping. But watch those online sources. Most are sponsored by someone trying to profit from a wonder cure or wonder book. Others are disgruntled people who may not know more than the doctors after all. And some say the radio ad natural cures can damage organs (beet powder hard on kidneys for instance). Just be careful.
After all that here I go: An author Mitch Horowitz in The Miracle Club and One Simple Idea (the history of positive thinking cults and other groups) discussed the fact that medical science first disdained and now partially accepts positive visualization,belief in placebo effect and use of the thoughts in the hypnagogic state (which means just before falling asleep) as affecting recovery. Gave some example actions to try). Ralph Waldo Emerson was into some of this. Interesting and harmless (compared with quack cures) and might help. Maybe get on interlibrary loan from a library. Note: I do not agree with his politics.
