Bet he did not have a bright flashlight or floodlights he could turn on. Clearly he did not have a quick trigger finger.

Anytime you decide to introduce a gun into a situation, it’s a good idea to start pulling the trigger immediately after it’s introduced and the gun is still in YOUR possession.
To: Simon Green
Never pull a gun unless you are ready and competent in using it. If the only reason you pull a gun is to scare someone or just hold them until police arrive, you are probably going to be a victim.

Don't go waving a gun around unless you're willing to pull the trigger. And be sure that introducing a guns into the situation is justified.

Wait, the man was peacefully arrested, and not shot to death?
But I thought only white killers got arrested peacefully?
To: Simon Green
This is why I would probably side with the guy on the ground in the parking lot shooting, because if you have a gun, but don’t use it, and the criminal is able to approach you, he can steal the gun and use it against you.
It sounds great to say “point the gun and say “stop”, but I bet that’s what this guy did, not wanting to kill a person unless he had to, and now he is dead.
