Democrats in tough races throw their party under the bus
The Hill ^ | 11/02/18 | Alexander Bolton

Democrats in tough Senate races around the country are throwing their party under the bus as they seek to pull out victories in red states won just two years ago by President Trump.

In Missouri, Sen. Claire McCaskill (D) has a radio ad declaring she’s “not one of those crazy Democrats.” She’s in a razor-tight race against Josh Hawley, the state’s attorney general.

In Montana, Sen. Jon Tester (D), whose race against Republican Matt Rosendale has tightened considerably, told The Hill that Democrats “botched” the debate over Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

He also criticized Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s (D) use of DNA results to claim Native American heritage, saying it doesn’t “pass the test.”

In Tennessee and Arizona, former Gov. Phil Bredesen (D) and Rep. Kyrsten Sinema (D), respectively, are telling voters that they will not back Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer (N.Y.) for Senate Democratic leader. Trump won both of those states in 2016, too.

In West Virginia, Sen. Joe Manchin (W.Va.) broke with his party and backed Kavanaugh's confirmation.

In Indiana, Sen. Joe Donnelly (D) has a television ad warning of “socialists” who “want to turn health care over to the government" and of the “radical left” wanting to eliminate U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement.

The efforts by these candidates make sense given the plight that the Senate Democrats have found themselves in.

Republicans have a narrow 51-49 majority, but they have chances across the country to build on it despite a political climate in which Democrats are favored to win back the House majority.

Just doing what comes natural to that party:

Lying and pretending to be something they’re not. so they can elected and be what they really are.

Say anything to achieve later end goals. It's called Taqyia. A common practice among the followers of Islam.

Lying is good, and ones religious duty in furthering the faith. A custom fit for democrats and their guiding principles.

Local ads have D candidates blowing smoke up the asses of the masses, but they often fail to mention their party affiliation. They know the D’s have made a bad name for themselves.

Exactly. Ben McAdams, who is running against Mia Love in Utah, is running on “people above party” and saying he won’t be beholden to the party. Yeah, right. His followers want you to believe that a democrat in Utah is politically like a moderate in any other state. Except, if you’ve seen or heard the current mayor of SLC, you’d know that’s just not true.

Voted straight ticket for the first time in my life.

While I usually go through and vote (R) on each and every race, there’s been a handful of times in my 42 years of voting that a local (D) got my nod

I just wanted to make my own small statement by being part of the Straight Ticket numbers

This is a desperate pleas to help Democrats.

My wife had on the CBS News dreks this morning. No mention of Trump or the election. Does that sound like a confident party?

Fall in line?
RATs are lying. Saying anything to keep their seat.
They will all vote how Chuckie tells them to vote
if they win.
It is a sign of desperation.

We all know: they are simply doing it to get into office. Once there, they will do as they please and vote the party line, their electorate be damned.

“...The Democrat always has someone, or something to blame for whatever they are failing....”

Always, since their “failing” is DELIBERATE. They must HIDE their real agenda.

One of the Dem candidates here doesn’t talk that she is a Democrat. She is saying that she is nice and will work across the aisle.

“”the Democrat Party that very evening will instantly become politically dead from A-Z for many years to come.””

I don’t think anyone here could have a more important wish come true. I am really tired of the campaign commercials and the BLATANT RACISM of blacks endorsing blacks simply because they are black!!!! The candidates could be escapees from the nearest lunatic asylum and they’d still get support from the obozos and Oprah if they were black.
How come no one ever calls them on it? Too chicken? Apparently.
