There is early voting by mail. No special excuse needed, you can just ask for an absentee ballot.
I think the form to request it is included with your sample ballot, you can request permanent absentee ballot. But it is too late for this election.
But be sure to get out and vote.

The point of the article is that there has been a higher turnout of republicans, not that an early vote counts more.
Then I can go to sleep on election night without waiting for California results? :-)

My thought is that if CA can hold its 14 seats, other states should be able to hold theirs.
Yes, several seats here are under pressure. But most, if not all, will pull it out. Folks in the Red districts are coldly resolute. Determined.
As opposed to the red-hot passions of the Dims, which tends to fade with bad news. And the real world has been dishing out bad news for them.

That’s midnight for me. I did stay up in 2016 and watching the meltdown was worth it! So I plan on trying to stay awake again. Root for my home State! :-)

Americans are too busy to vote on just one day. Even after laws were passed that forced employers to give employees time off to vote it still wasn’t convenient to vote.
If you had to be out of town you could get an absentee ballot and mail it in. But that wasn’t good enough because you had to supply a reason on the form.
So, the Democrats sensing an opportunity pushed for early voting and the Republicans being weak willed cowards gave in to the lazy lobby and the Democrats got their new and very powerful voting fraud tool.
If anyone ever tells you that they vote on the issues and don’t vote for the party, ask them if they vote early. If they say yes call them a liar. If you vote the issues you can’t vote until voting day. If you vote early you are not listening to the entire debate? If you don’t get the entire debate how can you really know both sides of an issue?
I know they’ve been throwing a lot of money against Nunes. Hope he is reelected.
There are many Republicans here However we are VERY QUIET and VERY LOW KEY!!! This state is a MESS!!!
