It’s one of the reasons he got elected. Overall, he got elected because there were a lot of things unprecedented and long overdue: a President who is not a lawyer, not a politician, and who has a backbone and is a fighter. Moreover, we have a President who doesn’t owe anything to anybody except for the people who elected him to office.
Watching him play the left and the media (but I repeat myself) is just an added joy.

Mitt Romney is a coward for not standing up and calling the leftist media out for their lies and destruction to our Republic.
The question I have is whether people like Romney really comprehend that the media have become the democrat’s propaganda ministry, or are they completely clueless?
Does he hate Trump so much that he simply doesn’t care what he is supporting as long as it undermines Trump?

Now you are over the target. Progressive Republicans like Romney prefer Democrats to Trump and his MAGA agenda. They barely lifted a finger to stop a Hillary Criminal SCOTUS. I always thought the “uniparty” was tin foil hat stuff but Trump has shown it to be 100% true.
Leaving aside that we can count on Mitt to be the new media attack dog on all things Trump, from the GOP side, he’s right. It’s unprecedented .... and long overdue!
