Limbaugh, Hannity joining Trump on campaign trail
The Hill ^

Posted on 11/04/2018 10:48:44 AM PST by Sybeck1

Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity will join President Trump at a rally on the eve of this week's midterm elections, the Trump campaign announced Sunday.

The two conservative media personalities will join Trump for a rally Monday night in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

The campaign noted in a statement that Hannity and Limbaugh are "longtime friends" of Trump and "strong advocates for the President's America First agenda."

"We're glad to welcome Cape Girardeau native Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity as special guests to this final stop on the tour where President Trump will make his case to the American people to support GOP candidates on Election Day in order to continue our great American comeback under his leadership," Michael Glassner, chief operating officer of the Trump campaign

Actually, back in 2000 or so, Rush came to Puyallup, Washington to speak at a rally for John Carlson who was running for gov. I was there. Rush did it because John was the only talk show host who defended him on his local Seattle show after the OKC bombing when Clinton tried to blame it on talk radio.

Havent been able to listen to Rush since 2016 when he baited and ridiculed Trump supporters over Cruz.

My last post about Rush sounded mean and cheap. Let me make amends. Glad he will be there with the President. Know he will make it a barn burner classic!!!

You wrote: “As a side note, I wonder why Hannity hasn’t followed Rush’s action and moved out of New York to avoid the huge taxes....”
Hannity understands that if he leaves NYCity his absence will give the Murdoch brats at Fox the opportunity to fire him.

Hahaha - I’m sitting here thinking that Rush and the president will speak, and Hannitus Interrutpus will keep jumping up and cutting them off and telling us how he used to paint houses and was a bus boy and a roofer, etc.

I agree. Go back and see the post I was answering, though. I was responding to a poster who wondered why Hannity still does his show in NYC instead of moving to a low-tax state like Limbaugh did.

“...but his TV show has to be done in the FOX studios.”

I have seen him do town halls from most anywhere; did his show from Singapore, etc.

They could do their shows from St Louis.

Right. But that doesn’t mean FOX would be willing to relocate the entire operation to another state to do 250 shows a year there.

Rush has come quite a distance from his days of bumping bellies with the Bush globalist.

Who else was he going to "bump bellies" with back then? Would you have preferred John McCain or John Kerry?..............Sheesh!

Probably because Hannity is also tied to his nightly FoxNews show, which is shot in FoxNews’s NYC Studios.

I’m sure Hannity would split from New York in a NY minute if he no longer had his FoxNews gig or got FoxNews to allow him to tape the show in Florida (Hannity does own a home down there). FoxNews two main studios are in NYC and DC - two locations with very high local and state income taxes.

Rush has come quite a distance from his days of bumping bellies with the Bush globalist.

Would you have rather had Rush criticize Bush during those years? He didn't have to, the rest of your MSM did a very fine job of it...........

Give it a rest dude, the MSM does a very good job of dividing our party, you don't have to be another ignorant patsy willing to join them........
