With governor's race deadlocked, Milwaukee County has more than 45,000 uncounted absentee ballots

With the race for governor hanging in the balance, Milwaukee County Clerk George Christenson said his office still had more than 45,000 uncounted ballots shortly after midnight Wednesday.

Christenson said his office had just received 7,800 ballots from Wauwatosa, which were delayed because of a problem with a computer modem. Officials were reconciling those numbers and would soon release the totals.

Christenson said he was still waiting to receive 45,000 outstanding absentee ballots from the City of Milwaukee.

Milwaukee city officials put the figure even higher, saying the outstanding votes total 47,000. That amount includes 36,000 in-person absentee ballots and 11,000 absentee ballots by mail.

Those votes are expected to favor Democratic gubernatorial candidate Tony Evers, as Milwaukee has long been a Democratic-leaning city. Evers is running against GOP Gov. Scott Walker.

So what was Walker’s history with Trump. Other than knowing he got trounced early in the 2016 Primaries, my recollection is that he didn’t think too much of Trump...but I could be wrong.

Less than 2000 vote difference with supposedly 97% counted. But if the missing votes are from the cities, doesn’t bode well for Walker. I hope he pulls it off in the end. I’m sure this will be recounted.

Evers is the Superintendent of Instruction in Wisconsin. That guy is in the back pocket of the state and national teacher and labor unions. He’ll f**k up Wisconsin in short order if he steals, uh I meant wins the election.

4 elections in 8 years can wear a guy down. Walker should have ran for Senate

the unreported story of the 2000 election was that the proven vote fraud in milwaukee county was larger than the size of GWBs loss in WI.

It got lost in all the hysteria in FL.

seems like people actually went to prison for all that, but I don’t recall completely.

Ah that explains why he’s done so well. Walker held them off 4 years ago quite deftly. If there was any doubt before, the left is clearly not screwing around.

Perhaps they will bungle the next term in Congress. Let’s see how Trump rope-a-dopes them over the next 2 years.

Stupid people of Wisconsin. Scott Walker rescued you from a HUGE deficit, and recruited FoxConn to build a HUGE manufacturing plant in Wisconsin, and this is how you reward him.

No way! The Democrats are sure experts on where to keep finding bogus ballots. Year after year.

Last minute absentee ballots from Milwaukee and wauwatosa found and counted without observers after midnight. (Right after Walker goes up 2k votes)

Evers gets 38000, Walker just 7k. That’s an 85% break for the union guy. Even Madison only pulled 75% for Evers!

Something it’s rotten on Canal street.

I hope they’re not using dialup.
