That’s a really odd statement. Since you’re the only one here who brought it up, what makes you think it’s true? Did someone here imply or suggest that?

18 yr olds are not supposed to be allowed in bars in California. The drinking age there is 21. They card at the door
Because everyone is making a big deal about what a tragedy it is because she’s so and so’s niece or some TV personality as if it’s more tragic than all those nameless, faceless people who die every day.
Why single her out? Just because she’s famous or related to someone famous?
In S. CA the media have been reporting/talking to many of the victims families and friends. Even the networks were talking about various victims. In fact, this is the first I've heard about this particular victim and I still have no idea who she is.
I’ve seen several articles about her.
None about the others.
And I’ve seen the same pattern in other shootings.
Always focusing on the famous person and what a tragedy it is when ALL lives lost are a tragedy and no one person’s life is worth more just because of how famous he or she is.
Yep, they single out famous people because they’re famous. Most everyone can relate because they know them. It’s newsworthy. No question. But the fact remains they reported about other victims as well so this person was not, “Singled out” as you suggested.
Just curious, what has all this have to do with a, “5 year old black child in the ghetto”?
“And why is her death more tragic than that of a 5 year old black child in the ghetto that we never hear about?”
Maybe because it’s close to home for a lot of us in SoCal.
