Governor Rick Scott delivered a blistering report Thursday on the offices of supervisors of elections in Broward and Palm Beach counties.
Addressing the media in front of the governor's mansion, Scott said there could be "rampant fraud" in the election practices of the two counties.
Scott said at the end of election night, the Broward County Supervisor of Elections Office said 634,000 votes had been cast.
By 2:30 p.m. Thursday, the office reported 712,040 ballots counted with an unknown number of ballots remaining.
Scott said his office has filed a lawsuit and is asking the Florida Department of Law Enforcement to look into the matter.
Governor Scott said the officials in those counties were trying to "steal the election and thwart the efforts of voters in Florida."
"The people of Florida deserve fairness and transparency and the supervisors are failing to give it to us," Scott said.
Scott said a judge ruled last year the office of Brenda Snipes illegally destroyed ballots in 2016.
Scott also said Snipes' office posted results in 2016 before the polls closed. FOX 13 News has not independently verified this detail.
He added that Palm Beach County was refusing to provide information about the ballot count to the public. He said they were also illegally denying party officials access to the ballot counting area, forcing them to stand behind a glass wall with limited visibility and no ability to hear what counters are saying.
"This is a clear violation of Florida law," Scott said.

Fact 99% of every city in Broward is democrat controlled Miramar in the south to Parkland in the north all run by the dnc thats a fact Jack....Broward has 4 seperate and distinct congressional districts an no republicans in charge of anything repeat anything it has a population of 1,935,873 souls according to a local liberal rag the 3 of 5 liberal counties voted 100% more than ever before state wise 62% voted Miami Dade County 56%, Broward 54% Palm Beach County 61% voted....but the problem was the ballot was 6-10 pages long with elected people scattered all over the place instead of being in a section at the beginning..I work at a double pct and witnessed too few workers machines sitting with no workers...this is a paid job folks...

There’s been rampant fraud by democrats in Oregon for many years due to mail-in ballots where the voter must sign the outside envelope. The republican ballots get tossed! They just look at the name on the outside, check their list and “oops” the ballot is gone.
Why the republican party allows the charade voting to go on in Oregon is a mystery. Mail-in ballots need to be stopped unless people are in the service. Their has not been a republican elected since the mail-in ballots began.
Take a random 1000 votes in the black community and go house to house asking if they voted. Explain that if they voted and said they didn’t - or didn’t vote and said they did - they would be charged with perjury... arrested and tried in a Court of law.
Florida fraud is traditionally done in the black community - and it’s done by ‘voting the people who don’t show up to vote’... it’s how ‘the dead’ vote ... they NEVER ‘show up’...
