House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), who plans to return as Speaker in the next Congress, declared Thursday that gun control will be a priority under the newly elected Democratic majority.
“I do believe, because in this Congress…there is bipartisan legislation to have common sense background checks to prevent guns going into the wrong hands. It doesn’t cover everything, but it will save many lives,” Pelosi said on CNN’s “Cuomo Prime Time" as the nation grapples with its latest mass shooting.
“This will be a priority for us going into the next Congress,” she added.

Passing legislation isn’t the point. The point is to virtue signal and gain funding.
Ask Americans to name their top ten (or even twenty) concerns and gun control will not be on the list.

When they had complete control of the WH, Senate and House they did not advance any gun control.
While we had the House and Senate, they could have passed multiple laws (like National Reciprocity) to strengthen the 2nd Amendment.
Our "do nothing" GOP Congress passed a tax hike on millions of middle class Americans, and it killed us in these midterms. Congressman Tom MacArthur (R-NJ) was declared another loser yesterday.
If the Rats steal ANY Senate seats, they will use RINOS in the Senate to get stuff passed and threaten Trump.
Not in this session, but beware of 2020 - especially if the mentally unstable demons continue to open fire on innocents.

We are there already. They did it outside Carlson’s House, with Scalise, with the attack on Rand, with assaults on GOP congressmen.

Only about 39% of Americans are in favor of more gun control, about the same percentage saying that they believed the accuser against Justice Kavanaugh. That’s about the same percentage in opposition against us on other important issues.
So you know who they are. You know their face (see the circus against Kavanaugh). It’s time to stop being politically and socially cowardly and calling out feminism and its smaller groups of co-conspirators (homo-activists and others).
Doubt seriously, very seriously that potus can be intimidated in any way by the Congress.
Not just on gun control. Pretty much everything they pass will go to the Senate and die.
They will probably pass gun control legislation which will be a liberal's dream and will outlawing everything but black-powder muzzle loaders. This should assure Trump wins the Deer Hunter states in 2020.
The Democrats will make the Paul Ryan Republican House look spectacularly effective in comparison.
Expect routine government shutdowns (not a bad thing IMO).
Trump has a pen and a phone. And he has Twitter. Plus, Obama set the precedent for treating Congressional subpoenas as mere suggestions.
