It has protected butchers who botch abortions.
It has protected men who raped just because they supported abortion.

One small correction. The first female governor of Alabama was Lurleen Wallace. She was Governor 1967-1968 and was George Wallace’s wife.
She may have been Governor in name only, and did not serve a full term, but she was elected.
Mrs. Hugin was in line in a store and the woman behind her made a disparaging remark about Trump.
