We are former attorneys general. We salute Jeff Sessions.
The Washington Post ^ | November 7, 2018 | William P. Barr , Edwin Meese III and Michael B. Mukasey

Posted on 11/10/2018 6:43:59 AM PST by lyby

Sessions set four goals for his tenure: to reduce the rates of murder, violent crime generally, opioid prescription fraud and drug overdose deaths. He achieved all four... just as impressive has been the refocusing of the department’s efforts under Sessions’s leadership to protect the liberties of Americans.

“1. Restore election integrity (without which the country is lost).”

YES! One yuge thing he should have and could have accomplished in almost two years. That FL/Broward is filthy dirty, AGAIN, damns Sessions.

The minute recusal was brought up he should have met with President Trump and explained what that would mean and stepped down. I’m sorry but he put his own ambitions above the country.

Sessions may very well have done a good job...even a very good job...carrying out *most* of his Constitutional duties. But he miserably failed to act against the bloodless coup that the party of Saul Alinsky and Bill Ayers is *still* trying to carry out.

But we'll surely hear *much* more about that coup during the impeachment hearings...*both* of them.

In the meantime, he allowed one of the largest organized crime families to continue pillaging and destroying America.

Go back to sleep Jeffy

It’s too bad he didn’t set a goal of bringing justice to a corrupt government, or cleaning up the Intelligence agencies.

What is the MSM's current pet phrase "without evidence"?

Jeff Sessions took over a Department of Justice that was rotten to the core.

The only relevant measure of his tenure is how successful he was at rooting out the corruption and rehabilitating the DOJ.

He gets a big fat F on both counts.

And don’t forget the conspiracy to subvert federal immigration law by rogue states like Mexifornia, et al.

Sorry cretins

I will defer to people who know the proper role of the AG, not a bunch of rock chunking morons.

Hopefully he will chose to be your next senator too.
However, he was not the right AG for this time in history.
Any other time, yes. Not right for this time.

I hope you’re not talking about Sessions or you have no clue what his job is.

My former U.S. Senator served our country well during his tenure as Attorney General.

I'd say he was about average, not outstanding, not awful. The mere fact that there were Session haters ranting at him the day he was fired is testament to their insanity. There's nothing we can do about that. On the flip side we we will now get to see their hypothetical superhero AG right all the wrongs of the deep state. The perp walks will start in five minutes.

No? No. There won't be perp walks. There is no superman AG to drain the swamp. There is a possible process of reform but it takes years and has to start in the feckless Congress so it won't happen any time soon.

I don’t see you on this board often. In fact I never remember seeing your name.

Now go the #$@#$ back to whatever bed you woke from and go back to sleep.

Cause this thread from the WA POST is AN INSULT TO EVERY FREEPER ON THE BOARD AND A SLAP IN THE FACE TO OUR PRESIDENT BY A B.TCH NEWSPAPER ABOUT A B.TICH AG.

Ciao

Sessions is a collaborator and a fool.

" He was recused.

He left us in the hands of Rod Deep State Rosenweasel.

As a Republican, over the last two years, only Paul Ryan has done our country more of a disservice."

Very good summary, thank you!
