LAUDERHILL, Fla. — In the chaos that has swirled over the vote count in Florida following Tuesday’s midterm elections, one headline made its way ominously around the state: A teacher in Broward County had discovered a box labeled “provisional ballots,” left behind at the polling place at her school.

Mishandled ballots? Incomplete vote count? Florida’s Republican Senator, Marco Rubio, fanned public suspicion. “I don’t know what’s in this sealed box found this morning by #BrowardSheriff,” he said on Twitter. “But this dysfunction in #Broward Elections is not acceptable. At a minimum, it undermines public trust in the election & creates opportunity for mischief.”

As it turned out, there was no mischief. The mystery box, seen in photos all over social media, contained not ballots but supplies — pens, envelopes, signs advising people to “Vote Here.”

We can breathe easier, the NYT is saying it's all innocent. Of course no mention in the article of failure to follow the law.

REALITY CHECK: To the more astute observer, the reason that Snipes didn’t report this number on time is because she didn’t yet know how many new votes she would need to manufacture in order to get Democrats to win.

By not reporting the number of votes that had been cast, Snipes could later “mysteriously find” enough votes to get Democrats to win.

After the election, Broward County cunningly put ballots that had been declared “illegal” into the container with the legal votes. Now that they are mixed together, there is no way to distinguish the legitimate ballots from the illegal ones.

It is a b-i-g mistake to think Brenda Snipes is incompetent or foolish. Snipes is a sly fox, and knows more about the election laws, loopholes and ways to circumvent the law than all of those people put together.

She doesn’t do anything by accident - she just does the "shuck and jive" routine to play the role.

Snipes calculatedly designed ballots to generate under-votes (blank votes) for the senate election.

That way Snipes and her cohorts can fill in the blank and change it to a vote for the democrat.

This isn’t her first rodeo - she has been in this job scamming elections for 15 years. Check out her history of election wrongdoing.

And those are just the times she has been caught.

Snipes has figured out more ways to scam an election than one can imagine; she has more crooked lives than a black cat.

I’m not going to their site but would be curious if they mention or have an explanation of why the Broward Supervisor of Elections (SoE) failed to send in the early vote count that they should have started a week before at the mandated time of 7pm on Election Day. Also there is the curious case of giving one count of ballots at the end of voting and then a sudden 100k+ increase just a day(?) later?

It is highly suspicious that they "find" more ballots when they are supposed to know exactly how many and where they are at all times.
It is highly suspicious that the "found" ballots are predominantly democrat, rather than a mixture similar to the others.
It is highly suspicious that there is no explanation how the ballots were "lost" in the first place, where they came from or where they've been.

The courts should just declare entire ballot collection for those counties invalid and unfit for recount and let the original count from the election night stand.

Maybe they were trolling us; it was a trap. Maybe it was left there that way on purpose to say, “See... the Republicans are over reacting. There was no fraud here so there the other instances weren’t fraud, either.”

Or, the SOE employee Noah was messing with ballots so rented a car so his own licence plate wouldn’t be identified if people were watching and/or taking videos.

I was just thinking the same thing. There needs to be a law introduced requiring news outlets to report the news without injecting their cheap shots and personal bias on behalf of the democrats. It’s gotten so bad they don’t even care any more.
