The Nazis may very well have been extracted from France, but it would have been the Soviets that did it.

I agree. However, if they had not had to worry about the US involvement, it is quite possible they would have kicked Stalin’s butt even after their original failure.
Hitler was spread too thin and we were the reason for it. Take away the US and you take away D-Day. And Africa may have gone a bit differently as well. Not to mention Italy.

And then they'd be speaking Russian.

Without the sacrifice of young US men in WWI, the German offensives would have succeeded in forcing a French mutiny. Without the US equipment and later manpower in WWII, the Soviet Union would have fallen, leading to an eventual peace settlement favorable to Germany. I believe that President Trump speaks the truth.

Without the Allies attacking Germany from the west, would the Russians have prevailed in the east?

And Russia couldn’t have saved France in WWI either. They quit before the war was over.

Without the Western allies providing them with materiel and holding fronts on the south and west they probably couldn't have prevailed.

And the Soviets would have tried to occupy after Germany was defeated.

Had we not intervened in WWII Europe the Soviets would have pushed all the way to the Atlantic.

And if that were the case, who would have been able to tell the difference between them and the Nazis?

My parents were in Hungary when the Russians came in and they were worse than the Nazis, taking all the food they could find and anything left of value they could find and sending it to Russia.
