So while a part of the White House stands ready to respond to that CNN/Acosta-Tantrum lawsuit, another part continues a steady pile up of good constitutionally based judges. Nice!

The Democrat House is powerless to do a damn thing, even get Trump’s tax returns from anyone but New York state — a nothingburger. Trump and his folks can ignore every subpoena at will, and shield everyone with Exec Privilege, just as Obama did with Holder’s crimes.

By my count, they’ve confirmed 30 Circuit Court judges so far. That is slightly more than half way toward countering the 55 Circuit Court judges that were appointed by Obama.

There are currently 11 Circuit Court vacancies. No telling how many more will open up in the next two years but I anticipate that by the end of his first term, President Trump will have had at least 45 or so Circuit Court judges confirmed. That goes a long long way toward repairing the damage Obama did.

If President Trump had the chance to replace any of the Gang of Four on the SCOTUS in the next couple years, that would be huge. Even appointing a good strict constructionist for Justice Thomas would be extremely useful. If that were to happen, all the younger Justices would be Strict Constructionists while all the oldsters would be Leftists. We really need to get to 7-2 or better to secure our constitutional rights.
