It’s Democrats that insist on violating rules.
Nothing wrong with it. The hand recount, in theory at least, is supposed to verify that it really was a voter skipping the race rather than a machine error (e.g. the bubble was filled out but was too light to be picked up by the machine, etc.).
Of course in reality the Dems, as history attests, use this process to count any ballots that will help their candidate and dismiss any that won’t.

The voter has to make some clear positive indication that they want a guy or gal.
A voter can write “Dem” by Nelson’s name and it must be considered a vote for Nelson.
A voter could write “Commie” by Nelson’s name and it should not be considered a vote for Nelson, but only a condemnation.
A half-filled out circle for Scott would be considered a vote for Scott.
In my polling place in Sarasota County, a lady had her ballot rejected by the machine, probably because she didn’t fill out a circle fully. The poll worker told the voter to examine her ballot to find the problem.
Our Florida machines are made by nationwide selling companies who have worked to make voting reliable.

There is no way to determine “intent” on the ballot. But Dems got the benefit here. Over and under votes should not be counted.
They already met and cleared the under over ballots .

what do we know about this dentzer guy? I read he was a recent democrap. for all we know he’s a soros plant but I guess that’s not the case since we’ve had an R gov for quite some time.

Detzner was a registered Democrat until 1984 when he changed his registration to Republican. He worked as a lobbyist for the Florida Beer Wholesalers Association. He served as chief of staff to James C. Smith, then the Secretary of State of Florida, from 2002 to 2003. After the 2002 election, re-elected Governor of Florida Jeb Bush appointed Detzner as interim Secretary of State, before Glenda Hood's swearing in.[1]
Detzner is a Bush loyalist looking for revenge against Trump. Jeb wants to destroy the Republican Party so he can come back as it's Savior... rebuild in Bush's immage....of course.
