It is mesmerizing. They’ve had that snow-smoother up there today even though there’s not that much snow yet. I think the skiers show up when the first flake falls. LOL!
Yay...she’s even running! That must make you smile. I checked DH a while ago and didn’t see any snow. Yet.
I wonder how Ms. Behavin is doing. Hope she isn’t driving in bad weather. The roads she travels on are scary winding!
Correct on all counts!!! d:o) I think I’ve had a nap. LOL!
This has been a grueling week. And it’s 22 degrees and warming up to rain for several days.
Just getting from the car to the building front door was dicey this morning, and I had to put spikies on the shoes I use to go out on the deck to feed the ducks...so slick!
I hadn’t checked the cams the past few days - wow! There’s more than enough snow for skiing. Quite a bit more than the last time I looked. It’s a CLEAR night. Lookit all da starz!
There wasn’t much snow at DH today or tonight. Just a few spitting flakes here and there. The heavier stuff stayed north of there. It’s just been windy and cold, like it’s been here.
Just looked at the clock and it’s time to feed Missy Moogly. It’s been over an hour since her pill and she kept it down. Been picking out tunes for tomorrow night. I get to play since I don’t have to get up early Sat.
I take it you’ve been on the roads MS.B travels when you’ve been up there? They certainly sound scary from things she’s said. Not fun to drive on in icy or snowy weather.
How's everyone doing this morning?
Howdy, E.G.C. ((HUGZ))
We’re doing frigid over here this morning. Not fit weather for man nor beast.
I hope it was nice enough over there for a trip to the lake so Gizmo could burn off some steam.
Wow! I had forgotten to check the cams at night. It’s been so clear up there, I figured there’d be tons of stars shining, but forgot about it once night time got here.
I have been on those roads, and after seeing them I realized how scary they must be on a dark stormy night. She’s used to them, though...probably knows where every bump in the road is.
Happy Friday, E...((HUGS))...hope you and Gizmo are headed to the lake for some fun today.
Have a great one!
There are certainly a lot of stars twinkling in their skies tonight! Just gorgeous.
The worst thing about driving roads like that on stormy nights is never knowing when a deer or some other critter might suddenly appear. That makes for an unnerving drive no matter how many times one’s travelled a road. I’m sure she has her “radar” on every inch of the way when the weather’s bad.
Typing this has been an ordeal. Raimis and Milda have been busy working on their nest and Suvi has “discovered” them. LOL! She keeps jumping up on the desk - via my lap, then the keyboard - to watch.
We had much nicer weather yesterday for the trip to the lake. More nice weather today I think.
That’s too funny! She wants to watch with you. LOL! I’m glad you reminded me to check the nest. Last time I tried, it was still dark. The nest is really beginning to look like...well...a nest! Thay are stepping up!
Guess I’d better head out. I didn’t get much of a nap. Just couldn’t relax for some reason. See ya tomorrow night for some tuneage! Have a good day tomorrow. Hope it isn’t as cold.
Goodie! If the nicer weather is already there, it might just make it here today as predicted.
I hope y’all had a great time and that Gizmo didn’t run your legs off. LOL
She wants to jump into the screen and EAT those birds, is what she wants to do. LOL
Raimis is busy working on the rails and Milda’s starting to bring in bedding. They’ve done a good job considering they’ve never built a nest from scratch before. Things sure looked iffy at the beginning.
I hope you’re able to relax and get a good night’s sleep tonight. I’m not far behind ya since I had to get up early.
Catch ya tomorrow evening.
mushy, muddy snow
Exactly.
Big night tomorrow, as my rock=star nephew turns 30.
Big bash at a local venue with some of the best bands in NE. I will not be performing, but I will be dancing. Can’t help myself.
When I have the 2 stage snow thrower mounted on my biggest tractor (NOT the one in the shop—just not changed over because leaf shredding was still in progress) I am most definitely the neighborhood plow guy.
“Neighborhood” is rural country with houses about 1/4 mile apart so a little free road clearing just “happens” too.
Apparently they did.
LOL. Thanks for being so thoughtful.
