I am appalled, as I have taken the time to read her words and actually listen to her speak, but...then I come back down to earth.

The likes of Maxine Waters and Nancy Pelosi show that rising in the Democrat part requires something other than brains.

You are correct, I believe, but I would add it is because she is breaking the Cardinal Rule of the Left: Never Show Your Hand Too Early.

Gotta hide everything so the sheeple get roped in, and don’t panic and scatter.

That is so insulting to interns. Most of them actually have some education and provide useful services.

“Look here: I raised that boy since he was the size of a piss-ant. And I’ll say right now, he never learned to read and write. No, sir. Had no brains at all. Was stuffed with rice pudding between th’ ears. Shortchanged by the Lord, and dumb as a jackass. Look at him now!”

Likely this comment from “Being There” applies to this young woman, even though the character Louise added on that all you’ve got to be is white to get what you want in America.

Do reporters just follow her around looking for quotes stories about her? Is she that much of a rock star?

I am calling BS on her claim.

Any time I've attended a conference or seminar, I get a name tag that also spells out my job/title (i.e., "DoodleBob, Grand Poobah, Loyal Order of Water Buffalos"). In this context, and given the general narcissism of elected officials, there is NO WAY any Congresscritter-elect doesn't have some big badge identifying who they are.

Now, MAYBE after the tour proper, if she's milling around without the badge, she's mistaken as such....that's believable...most Democrat men and woman are probably misogynistic racists and easily see her as someone's accouterment or "THE HELP." Indeed, I could see Chuck Schumer asking her to fetch him a drink and get the score of the Knicks game for him.

For context, contrast Ms Ocasio-Cortez's alleged horrible experience with that of the first black representative:

At the time, as in most states, the state legislature elected U.S. senators from the state. In 1870 Revels was elected by a vote of 81 to 15 in the Mississippi State Senate to finish the term of one of the state's two seats in the US Senate...When Revels arrived in Washington, D.C., southern Democrats opposed seating him in the Senate. For the two days of debate, the Senate galleries were packed with spectators at this historic event.

Sorry, even if it is true, hers is a first world problem.

“Next time try believing women + people of color when they talk about their experiences being a woman or person of color.”

Uhhhh what?

At least she’s doing better than Madeline Albright who was mistaken for the cleaning woman.

True. But you are expected to be loyal, and to follow the party line.

That is all she has to do.

She may figure it out.

This reminds me of what happened in Washington state a few decades ago. We elected two firebrand republican conservatives to the house. They were gonna shake things up.

They were both out in two years.

They’re not actually mistaking her for an intern, they’re deliberately treating her as one and she’s too stupid to see it.

I’d bang her. Oh sure. I’d violate that horseface like the speed limit on a holiday weekend.

I bet she’s an animal in bed. I guarantee she is. Latina? Nice body? Yes.

I’d open my playbook to say, chapter 31. Vileness. Filth. Debauchery. Some of you know what I’m talking about, so I’ll spare the details.

Videotape the whole thing “for my protection”, and go from there.

Maybe it’s because that’s the job that she is suited for, not member of congress.

This knucklehead actually believes normal adults take her seriously, and give credence to her sophomoric comments.

She is a sad joke...stupid and self promoting are two of her better qualities.
