Famous Geneticist Tells NIH that Humans Are Going Extinct

November 16, 2018 | Sal Cordova

The facts of genetics make it clear even to evolutionists: “We are dying” and “More death by selection will not work.”

by Salvador Cordova

After 40 years of work in genetics and 18 years of research specifically into the question of human genetic degeneration, retired Cornell research professor John Sanford was finally invited by sympathetic staff at the world’s leading medical institution, the National Institutes of Health (NIH), to present his work.

Sanford was once an evolutionist, and few geneticists could boast of (1) having their work involved in feeding starving billions in the 3rd world and (2) having his inventions in the collection of the Smithsonian National Museum of American History. But late in his career, what should have been an instant invitation to speak at the NIH seemed permanently closed. Why? Dr Sanford had become a creationist.

Time itself is a property of the mind, it was born with man. When man goes, so does time. Since there is nothing against which to start or end, because a thing can not be defined by itself, the reality has ALWAYS been eternity, which is not endless time, but no-time.

Sheeeesh, read the Bible :-P - that's why heaven is already in and around us. The 'World' ... of time, of things, of life and death ... is the illusion. It's just hard for us to see there is no real time, no real world. Darwin doesn't want us to. That's the point of the resurrection.

The Buddha called this 'having dust on your eyes.' This is not to say my eyes aren't quite dusty - they are virtually 3 feet deep in it.

That was a total tangent. What can I say? It's snowing and I'm working from home, or getting back to it.

Actually we are simply f**king ourselves to death. After HIV/Aids, a new STD is discovered every week.

The world belongs to viruses.

Given his premise, not just humans but ALL species will gradually deteriorate and become extinct.

But given the hundreds of million of years that complex life has been around why are there any animals still around.

Not only that, but why do today’s species seem more advanced than previous once?

Actually life expectancy is trending down after trending up since the 1800’s. It could be blamed on many things but the obvious is processed foods, GMO grown foods including livestock, smoking, alcohol, stress, and drugs (both street and prescription).

Any genetic, stem cell advances, or other life extending treatments will be far too expensive for working class people to afford. This will be by design. Can’t have the little people living too long in retirement collecting paychecks. Those living into their 90’s are likely considered dead weight.

People do the dumbest things. By trying to help those in 3rd world countries who have been dying off due to lack of resources by getting them fed and living longer just makes things worse. Sterilizing them would be far more humane. Having babies when food is so scarce is a criminal act anyway.

Unless we quickly start moving off world and colonizing other planets where workers are needed and the resources are plenty; we humans will kill ourselves off much like a virus can kill the host it survives in once it reaches a certain level of multiplying. Nature usually finds a way to fix these problems via a plague, fire, or other natural disaster but I wouldn’t count on it simply because science is advancing to the point where it can offset the natural correction.

I haven’t looked at recent life expectancy trends, but you could be right. In developed nations, the birth rates are abysmal.

Of course the third world is making up for it.

Certainly food for thought there. Thank you.

So, if I am reading this right, he is arguing for ‘speeding up’ the natural selection process with manual intervention?

Or the killing-off of undesirable traits?

The thesis is that random non lethal genetic mistakes occur all the time and do not get selected out. These nonlethal mutations accumulate generation by generation...until one newer mutation kills the biological system... No one knows what to edit out till it kills or nearly kills the organism. And it goes on and on...despite error correction enzymes and methods employed by cells..other geneticists have written on the subject...

One of my favorite websites on Macro-Trends: https://econimica.blogspot.com/

He has demonstrated in previous articles that the world’s population “growth” can be attributed to Africa. Ex-Africa, world population is getting smaller and older... even the middle and far east have gotten to pretty much replacement level or less in the last decade.

So I guess humans aren’t evolving to high beings that can control thing with our minds.

“We only have a few million years left. Make ‘em count!”

Reminds me of the joke, A man was freaking out because he heard the earth was going to be destroyed in 80 billion years and was relieved that it was only 80 million years!

What I have always been fascinated by is mankind’s belief that we are better than our ancestors. We are smarter, faster, blah, blah, blah. Yet, there is the second law of thermodynamics (which Einstein called the most basic law of science) which says that in Nature, systems always go from order to disorder. IF you believe in science, and IF you believe in Evolution, then Evolution would be from a more ordered species to a less ordered species … (which essentially is the plot of Idiocracy), yet we have these clearly opposite thesis accepted as scientific fact. One of them has to be wrong … is it the one that is actually observable (apples rot ((i.e., go from order to disorder)) when they fall from the tree), or the one based on “common sense” (i.e, we must be descended from monkeys because we share 97% of the genome).

Do you mean Stephen Hawking ?

I don’t know who Steven Hawkins is. I could be wrong, I know Hawking couldn’t keep his speaker shut about how much he couldn’t stand capitalists.

My grandmother was the oldest licensed driver in her state at 99, and still living alone. She had a couple of heart attacks in her 80s, then had the big one about 6 weeks before her 100th birthday, when she was out shoveling snow.
