Since they now control the House, I don’t expect ANY changes through the next elections.

In in the long run, we’ll all look back and see Paul Ryan as Speaker did far more damage to this Republic than Nancy Pelosi ever thought of.

As Margaret noted, comity was good on pending issues that will arise, UNTIL Trump was mentioned when the flow of talking points spewed all over the place; tearing babies from mother's arms, freedom of the press (Acosta), destroying institutions like FBI, etc.

No problem I didn’t talk about it for years. It was somewhat traumatic having soldiers walking through the restaurant with uzis. I wasn’t used to that and watching home owners protecting their homes with shotguns.Different world.

Same reaction for us when we arrived in European Airports/train stations and saw armor vested / shotgun/ uzi carrying law enforcement watching you as you exited.

My Freeper name was inspired by the scene in the movie "Patriot" where Mel Gibson comes riding towards the troops waving the huge Stars and Stripes flag and everyone starts chanting "freedom." I added the extra "e" to make it more like the way they were saying it and being female, I changed the ending to "dame." French pronounciation keeps it sounding like "dom".
I just looked at a video of this scene by searching for Mel Gibson Patriot flag freedom. The internet is such an amazing technology. Think what the world could be like if it was used only for good.

President Trump needs to go the way of Rush Limbaugh after he was ambushed a few times by edited interviews. Live on TV at the time of the interview or no interview, also videod at the scene by Trump’s own people. President Trump can think on his feet faster than any of the propaganda press. They sit there reading from their list of questions and still cannot match wits with him. However, when they get to edit before broadcasting, it’s their win.
