Encourage your TJ friend and their neighbors to shove them on southbound busses.

I don’t think Cubans like Mexicans much. It was one of the few states that has repelled the Mex-invasion. They seem to get along with every latin group, but them. Texas is different, where Cubans are the minority hispanic.

We are processing about 100 heads per day.

Can someone do the math for 3,500.... 10,000 and 15,000.

35 days, 100 days, 6 months.

We need to slow this down to 20-30 a day,

The state I referred to is Florida. But the Mexicans are here now, in small numbers and not so much in Miami.

I think most Americans view Latinos as a single group. Trust me when I say that that is not how Latinos see things. Mexicans are very aware that Salvadorans, Hondurans, & Nicaraguans are not the same as them. Although they all speak Spanish to our ears, to theirs, the accents are very noticeable. They are not overtly fond of one another.

This could get messy.

They are by no means the same, and it goes much farther than accent and futbol. This rivalry began almost two hundred years ago when Spain abandoned it’s Latin American colonies on the mainland. Mexico jumped at the chance to become the new empire, and made a grab for all of Central America, using Guatemala as its enforcer. There were a couple decades of warfare before Central America become anything like independent. As a result, Central Americans disavowed ANYTHING Mexican except the language. Even the foods have similar names but far different appearances and tastes. Only in recent years have Mexican restaurants made any real headway in Honduras. Even Pinto Beans cannot be found in supermarkets because they are considered “Mexican”.

When I worked close to the Mexican border in the US there were lots of Mexican and a few Central American employees. Most got along ok at work, but they didn’t much associate off the job.

Other than futbol, they really don’t like each other much.

You’re friends need to look up the definition of hypocrisy. Mexicans have been doing this to us for decades with an arrogant , pugnaciousness that is beyond infuriating. Mexicans feel that because they share a border with the US that somehow this makes them default Americans and they have first dibs on who gets in here. Mexico pulls $38 billion a year out of this economy in the form of remittances which is all that is keeping Mexico afloat. If that were to stop, even for a month or two Mexico would be in serious trouble. Our leaders know this and it’s why there will never be any change to the immigration system

For the last 50 years or so the residents of Tijuana have profited from a sort of human entrepot economy where “migrants” have easily slid through on their way to Estados Unidos (and cash profits have been distributed to TJ). They’ve always hated the non-Mexicans (and the poor Mexicans), but they knew they were transitory.

“El Trump” has begun to shut down that loose, creaky gateway - and for all practical purposes, it appears that he’s succeeding, to the horror of the citizens of Tijuana.

That is why these TJ citizens are angry.

Did you hear one of the protesters in that video? She said “Right now, there are detention centers in the United States”. THAT’s where they want these “migrants” to be - NOT in their city.

They want this mess to once again be America’s problem, not Mexico’s.

Where did you get the information that Mexico is now building a wall? Where?

We need to slow the border entry process to a mere trinkle and watch them truly implode. 100 per day is too many, that’s like adding a couple of Honduran cities every year.

No wall down there, only fences and gates that the Salvadorans have busted through. last month.

They might as well have MAGA building blocks! The toy set comes with more than 100 pieces including President Trump in a MAGA hard hat!

I worked on a guy’s car in FL one time and he made it a point to inform me that he was not Mexican. He proudly said he was from El Salvador and that Mexicans were nasty little people.

Yeah, the love Costa Ricans have for Nicaraguans is really special. Everything that goes wrong in CR is because of the Nicaraguans. My granddaughter is Costa Rican and she thinks of Mexicans as lazy lay abouts who don’t speak Spanish properly.

Yes, slow it down dramatically.

I saw another report on fox this morning and it’s not going well. Mexico is holding a jobs fair for them.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the other hordes on the way are turned back.

I just had this vision of a steampunk type, a bunch of massive mobile factories are built, they are several football fields long, fully self contained with the exception of needing raw materials such as aggregate, cement, steel and wate

Almost..US road building:

and the Chinese bridge building machine:

They are "processing" 100 applications a day...but doesn't say how many are approved....could be 10%.

This couldn’t possibly happen to a more deserving people and nation. Mexico has been dumping its worst human refuse across the US border for decades, with the intent of making them our problem rather than their own. Now let them experience the same, full throttle, from their own southern neighbors.
