Bull! Trump got his tax cuts and the nation is stronger for it. He got TWO SC picks and the nation is better for it. Every time Trump does something good certain people say how wonderful it is, and it IS WONDERFUL!!!!, but every time he stumbles, certain people make excuses and act as if he is POWERLESS, COMPLETELY POWERLESS to in any way affect the DOJ. Believe it or not, he does indeed have some say over the DOJ, WAY more than just a little bit of say.

Well said. Too many people act as if Trump’s power over the DOJ is EXACTLY AND PRECISELY THE SAME as my power or your power or Ernest Hemingway’s power over the DOJ.

BTW, Ernest Hemingway is dead.

“It’s unclear what charges Trump wanted prosecutors to pursue, the newspaper reported.”

NYT hasn’t reported any of the criminal offences so far, and they aren’t about to do so now.

LOL! That’s a beautiful line by the NYT.

Golly! What in the name of God, could anyone, ever, at anytime, anywhere on planet Earth, EVER consider prosecuting Hillary for?

Only Poirot could plumb the depths of such a mystery, and it would take him several hundred thousand years.

At the risk of making a pest of myself I will say again; the President needs to create a Presidential Commission on Corruption at the DOJ/FBI chaired by Joe DiGenova and staffed by former Federal Prosecutors. But first he should declassify the FISA documents requested by Congress. This revelation, combined with existing information developed by the Nunes Committee would provide ample grounds for the Commission when DOJ/FBI legitimacy is lacking. Simultaneously he should nominate Whitaker for AG to begin prosecutions of the coup members.

Is this another story using “unnamed sources” reported by the New York Times?

Correction: K Street lobbyists got the permanent corporate tax cuts they wanted. Trump got personal tax cuts with sunset provision. That’s not at all what the tax cut deal he wanted.

Sorry, Trump does have a DOJ that respects his executive powers. In fact, he has been publicly threatened by sitting Senators of his own party of management of DOJ. So It shouldn’t be a surprise when don’t get what we want out of DOJ. The Never Trumpers and Democrats in DOJ feel completely insulated from the White House, unfortunately.

Trump did not like or want the tax cut plan?

Trump does have a DOJ that respects his powers? Did you mean to say “does NOT”?

Threatened by Senators? The pres has PLENARY powers over the DOJ. Do you dare to deny that DJT can appoint a special counsel THIS VERY INSTANT to investigate ANYTHING ON EARTH that he wants to investigate? You do know that he can, yes?

The sub-humans “FEEL!!!!” insulated? According to the US CONS, they are NOT insulated, but serve AT THE PLEASURE OF THE PRESIDENT. I don’t give a shit what they feel.

DJT has what it takes to get tax cuts AND to get SC picks, he CERTAINLY has the authority to order an investigation of Hillary, THIS VERY SECOND, PERIOD, END OF STORY, DONE, FINISHED, THAT’S IT.

Here’s one of the comments to the Hill’s article:

“Tax fraud? Obstruction of justice? russian agent, America traitor? ruble laundering? Sexual assault? Porn star hush money payoff? Inciting violence/murder? What will take con don down first?”

The over-1000 comments are virtually all anti-Trump. My point is that there are a lot of people out there that will never support Trump. So what? Maybe a bunch of us will always support Trump. I think it’s a wall that will never be breached.

I like Trump so far and will support him until someone comes along around primary time that I think would make a better president. I don’t see that person now but we need a bull pen.

I hope Trump and his people are keeping tabs on voter sentiment toward him.

Morons, wasted so much energy telling us all to hold our fire. Useful idiots, duped.

Many of us knew for certain the heads of DOJ were letting them all get away with it. For. Two. Years.

Trump must be the most frustrated of us all. Poor guy got kneecapped.

(In before the morons say, “but he could just order them to do it!” Read. The. Friken. Article)
