Don’t you want unanimous juries too? Certainly in criminal capital matters, no?

Civil stuff, okay, preponderance may work, that’s only money/property, but criminal is a big step up.

Of course must be unanimous. Need better prosecution and change of venue. Defense called one witness. Judge would not allow other evidence witnesses as didn’t want to trouble the jury???
