The entire idea of political control through forced demographic change isn't new at all; what does appear to be new is its ubiquity among a self-proclaimed ruling class. And history has provided a set of lessons as to what happens when it takes place, and it isn't a homogeneous population subject to central domination but a highly fragmented, violent, and unstable population that is impossible to control. One would think that the deep thinkers behind this manipulative nonsense would at least consider the possibility that they might not only be wrong but be repeating a millennium-old folly. Only vanity and greed could keep the illusion alive, and apparently it has, at least until somebody could say "No!" and make it stick. It is amusing to watch their certitude and moral superiority collapsing but the power behind it isn't going to go down quite that easily.

Let’s just be very clear about the UN and their motivations. They are just another group of power hungry wannabes who are acting in what they perceive as their personal best interest.
The UN, without land/territory, and without true jurisdiction over anything, are largely a ceremonial body - with no true power. The leaders of the UN want to see a dissolution of nation states, and the establishment of a world government, with them in charge - just like any other pathetic wannabe dictators. There is nothing ‘honorable’ or altruistic about the UN.

Actually, what she said was: "I think Europe needs to get a handle on migration because that is what lit the flame." What that means, as her further comments made clear, is that she does want immigrants but the way it was done in Europe, especially Germany, got the smelly electorate too riled up. So she's advocating for other, more underhanded and hidden ways of establishing left-wing globalist rule.
