World Follows Trump’s Lead: Nations Abandon Legal ‘Framework’ Building UN Migration Pact
Breitbart ^ | Oliver JJ Lane

More nations are joining the exodus from the United Nations’ (UN) controversial compact on mass migration, with legal experts now standing up to raise concerns about the drafting of the document and what legal implications signing it might have for countries party to the pact.

President Donald Trump was the first to pull out of the UN pact on migration in December 2017, a move which prompted howls of disapproval from both the mainstream media and globalist leaders.

Yet several nations from all over the world have outright withdrawn from the compact since initially ratifying it in July, or have signalled their intent to do so, as states gain confidence in opposing fashionable but dangerous deals that are not in their own interests.

...

In comments that cut across the grain of the usual business and practice of the United Nations, President Trump said at the body’s New York headquarters in September: “Migration should not be governed by an international body unaccountable to our own citizens.

“Ultimately, the only long-term solution to the migration crisis is to help people build more hopeful futures in their home countries. Make their countries great again.”

Australia, Israel, and Poland are among the latest to pull out, all citing national interest reasons.

“Yet several nations from all over the world have outright withdrawn from the compact since initially ratifying it in July, or have signaled their intent to do so, as states gain confidence in opposing fashionable but dangerous deals that are not in their own interests.”

There is one word in the quote from the article above that defines modern liberalism. That word is “fashionable.” Something comes into “fashion” and no one can oppose it no matter how destructive it is. The homeless in San Francisco and Seattle and their many expensive “solutions,” universal health care for all, guaranteed minimum income, free education, free transportation...the list is endless.

However, while some fashions like global warming and tattoos seem immortal, others come and go. Notice that eliminating ICE disappeared just a few weeks before the 2018 midterms. That’s because about 80% of the electorate thought it was a bad idea. Hillary Clinton signaled another seismic shift recently when she opined that Europe (notice, Europe, not the US...as this is a policy trial balloon) needs to halt illegal migration.

Problem is when they come after being denied entry they will come with weapons. This planet will see another wave and the wave will most likely be a violent wave due to those that desire civilization to be destroyed once more. This planet is a jungle

At least when they come with weapons, it will be that much harder for the media to spin this as a bunch of harmless immigrants just looking for a better life. Some useful idiots may even wake up.

At first I would not have agreed with you but with each passing day, he is a leader and glad he is in charge.

He better hang tough on our southern border or there will be a rampage from us down here never seen in the likes of mandkind.

Not to worry. The DEMs in the House are about to dictate policy for the planet starting in January.

Does the UN explain what will happen to the people left behind in the nations people are "fleeing"? You know, the ones who can't afford a smartphone or pay a coyote thousands of dollars to help them flee?

Why isn't the UN helping those nation build themselves up to first or second world status?

Good post. Hillary I think sees this as an opportunity to play both sides. She can talk out of both sides of her mouth and nobody will call her on it.

I wish we could get a big march on the U.N. to get President Trump to pull out of the U.N. and reclaim the building for housing for homeless vets.
