>>>PDJT will destroy him during the first debate.

Honestly, it is this sort of attitude that will lead to defeat in 2020. Why? Because it was THIS sort of attitude that lost us the house!

It was this attitude, the attitude that "PDJT is loved everywhere because I love him and thus we are going to gain seats!" that cost us the house. How many posts did I see that said "the polls are wrong and we are going to gain seats?" Well, election fraud aside, we still lost seats.

Why? Because we acted like we weren't behind and didn't need to get people out to vote.

THAT was the dems mistake in 2016. They acted as if they were entitled and there was NO WAY the US would EVER elect DJT and so, they stayed home. This attitude sets us up for the opposite effect in 2020. The democrats will NOT make the same mistake again. They have learned from their mistake. They PROVED here in Texas that all it takes is a good-looking, charismatic guy to GOTV. The dim base doesn't care about issues.

Had the dims ran a different candidate in 2016....someone appealing to the inner cities that would have GOTV there, we would not be talking about PDJT.

You are really placing WAY too much emphasis on debates and giving WAY too much credit to people and how they vote. This isn't 1984. The dims will get millions of 18-30-year-olds out to vote based on charisma and vitriol. It's lunacy to dismiss that and act like it is in the bag.

Thank you. Robert Francis is infinitely more electable than the Pantsuit, who was the worst candidate the Dems could have run in 2016. Robert Francis doesn’t need TX. He only needs to flip back PA, WI, MI and FL. The midterm results indicate all those goals are achievable.

Yep! A whole lotta whistling past the graveyard going on here. Freepers here sounding like Pauline Kael, "There's no way the Democrats can win! I don't know anyone who is voting for them!"

Had the dims ran a different candidate in 2016....someone appealing to the inner cities that would have GOTV there, we would not be talking about PDJT.

People forget that a significant number of Donald Trump's votes came from the "Anyone but Hillary" crowd. They're unlikely (though not guaranteed) to make the same mistake in 2020 of putting someone so divisive on the ticket. They put someone like Beto at the top and he pacifies the ABH voters.

We lost the House because the KKKrats got The Cheat running smoothly again after the 2016 debacle, where they sat on their hands because Felonia was going to win walking away.

Also, the 40 House Rinos who "retired" knew that incumbents have a 96% re-election rate, and they knew that at least half their seats were going to be lost to KKKrats once they were up for grabs.

The House was a combination of those things, not over-confidence on our part.

You have to worry about defeating The Cheat of 2020, now that the KKKrats have shown us what's in store with the Orange County Mexifornia Steal.

“Why? Because we acted like we weren’t behind and didn’t need to get people out to vote.”

I disagree! First of all, it would have been historic for the House to stay Republican. Why the f*cked up voters of this country find it impossible to stay with a winning combination escapes me. I guess there are too many stupid, brain dead citizens in this country, but it’s been the case for all of my lifetime and probably long before. Secondly, the GOPe has been doing everything it could, working with their RAT buddies (and totally against the policies that Trump has been trying to implement) to “get things back to their kind of normal,” where they get paid for being “the loyal opposition,” welching on every promise they made to the voters if we would only vote them into the majority.
The biggest thing we have to fear right now is the number of “Establishment Republicans who are still on the government payroll.

You are correct.

People voted for the D. They could’ve cared less who the person behind it was. It will be the same for beto or any generic dem they put up.

Trump has to win WI, MI, PA, states that went overwhelmingly dem. He also needs FL which was too close for comfort. AZ and even GA appear to be in play.

Throw in the fraud and 2020 will be a tough one to win.
