I’m surprised a Harvard Grad actually owns a handgun.

There are clearly cracks in the indoctrination bubble and echo chamber. Some are slipping through.

“having a permit...”
Look up the definition of “infringe.” Your police are infringing on a right given to you by the Constitution.
There has been a steady encroachment of our rights by government.
It should be stopped by the USSC.

The landlord owns the property. It is his business.

I thought businesses could ban guns on their property.

Huh? I live in L.A. too and only one Jew admitted it to me.

The Jew admitted what?

New York has the Sullivan law, specifically put into place (driven by Tammany-Hall member Sullivan) to keep criminals from being shot while mugging people. Sullivan, a state senator ran the gangs at the time.

You can own a firearm in Boston. You just need to know a police officer that can help you move the paperwork through. I lived in the city for 30 years.

What’s in the lease? That’s what matters.

Those roommates need to be chastised, severely!
Nothing nice about searching through ANYBODY”S stuff.
Sue the roommates and the landlord. Then move as far away from that rotten state as you can.

Yes, I know this and so does everyone else who owns a gun in this state.

Curious why the landlord thinks she’d be responsible for all the rent, given presumably everyone signed the lease.

You need a permit in Massachusetts before you can even buy a hand gun?

Same in Illinois, for any firearm and also need a permit (we call them Firearm Owner ID cards) to buy ammo too.

Freaking ridiculous.

In another time the landlord would have forced the two girls to move out for pilfering through their roommates belongings.

For a time I kept my Marlin lever action 30-30 under my bunk at Yale.
I miss that rifle. I miss those days!

Yeah, but the way they found out was other tenants illegally entered her apartment and search through all her possessions. You okay with that?

There are no federal constitutional violations because there is no state action, meaning no action by a government agency or actor. Unless there is some other available remedy in state law, the best option would be to sue for breach of the lease contract. Of course, there may be provisions in the lease that permit termination due to the reaction of the roommates, and the landowner could decline to renew her lease. Alternatively, the gun owner might arrange to settle the controversy by storing her firearm off the premises.

Your police are infringing on a right given to you by the Constitution.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Not quite right.
The Constitution is recognizing inalienable rights possessed prior to the Constitution, given by God to all free men.
