I live in Massachusetts. I own one. So do most of my friends and neighbors. It depends on your city or town. The chief of police must approve your permit.

Look up the definition of “infringe.” Your police are infringing on a right given to you by the Constitution.
There has been a steady encroachment of our rights by government.
It should be stopped by the USSC.

After the SCOTUS decision in Caetano v Massachusetts I wonder how long *that* requirement would last in the Federal courts.
