A combination of recent changes in California’s election rules have lengthened the ballot-counting process and upended traditional voting patterns in a year that Democrats captured a string of U.S. House seats in the state.
Suspicious Republicans have pointed a finger at the state’s dominant Democratic Party, suggesting the changes intentionally left Republicans at a disadvantage.
Whether Democrats have a clear edge is debatable. What’s not is that vote counts in California now routinely stretch long beyond Election Day. A stunning five million ballots, or more than 40 percent of the overall total, were counted after Nov. 6. Some counties still are tabulating ballots.
The stream of later-counted ballots strongly favored Democrats, reversing what initially looked like winning margins for Republican candidates in high-profile House races.
In the former GOP stronghold of Orange County, Republican Rep. Mimi Walters ended election night with a 6,200-vote lead. But Democrat Katie Porter swamped Walters as the vote count continued, winning 58 percent of those tallied after Election Day on her way to defeating the two-term incumbent in the 45th District.
In was a similar case in the neighboring 39th District, where Republican Young Kim was hoping to become the first Korean-American woman elected to Congress. But her healthy election-night edge over Democrat Gil Cisneros vanished when Cisneros claimed 56 percent of the later votes on his way to taking the seat long held by retiring Republican Rep. The reality is probably just demographics in action. Conservatives should bail out of hopelessly leftist states and begin to fortify the red states, hastening the formation of our separate nations with the nation. By staying in a place like CA, all you accomplish is giving the ‘Rats more seats in the House due to overall population.
The GOP is always a day late and a dollar short. In this case, they’re a month late. Nothing will be done, CA is a 3rd World hellhole when it comes to elections.

The last votes will be tallied in late December or shortly before the new democrat-socialist regime is due to be permanently seated. there will never be another Republican elected to any office ever again not ever.

That was the point of the last ‘elections’. Destroying the people’s faith in free and fair elections was their goal. ‘Winning’ them was secondary. The left are in the process of bringing the country to crisis.

massive immigration and demographic change is what has turned California blue. Focusing on “voter fraud” is a diversion from that fact. The Democrats found a way to collect the ballots from all those newcomers, who otherwise mostly wouldn’t vote. That’s not fraud, it’s a successful strategy to turn their supporters into voters.

I don’t think any Dem can do that in 2020. Not even with what’s in place now. They barely got the House this time.
Republicans have been helplessly shrieking about voter fraud since Kennedy beat Nixon in 1960.
We are still shrieking.
And we are still helpless.
“Fraud” is always our first excuse when we lose.
In fact, we got crushed in 2018 because new immigrant citizens and first generation Americans vote 70%-80% for the Democrat Party.
There is no GOP as it is. They’ve been merging with the Dems since before many of us were born.

Spot on. That’s why 2 things had to be done immediately if America was to survive(basic triage)—Drain the fargin swamp and build the fargin wall.
I would suspect the Illegal vote in California is quite huge now.

Illegal aliens voting in our elections is fraudulent. That includes anchor babies-20 million plus in Mexifornia.
I see only a lawsuit can solve this....a big one...a class action suit all the way to the supremes.....
We ALL know what happened here..ALL these Republicans were declared winners then POOF after a few weeks, the Democrat just happens to win..YEAH SURE..doesnt take a genius to figure out what happened but unfortunately nothing will be done about it..the same people who say that Trump colluded with Russia to win the 2016 election say that the midterm elections being stolen is just a crazy conspiracy
We need to get that new census done. CA will lose lots of House seats when we no longer count illegals for representation.
