In his weekend’s news review talkie Rush Limbaugh correctly cites the cause which is a $7.00 (CO2 carbon) tax on a equivalent to a gallon of gas which is demanded by the Climate Nazis.

France falls again to invaders. What else is knew?

The one day I spent in France I regret as a waste of time. I was on a 2 week leave from duty in Rota and used Rhein-Main AFB as my central hub for various Europe destinations. Enjoyed them all except when my tourist bus stopped in Stasbourg for lunch. Not only were the waiters rude, the French customers looked at me like I was dirt. This was years ago, but I wonder if they are still such condescending superior pricks. I've read they are.

If so, let them rot in their Islamic invasion. The sad thing is that Germans were very friendly and accommodating but also are falling due to their insane immigration policies.

My wife and Daugher-In-Law are leaving for Barcelona tomorrow. I hope Spain hasn't succumbed to this insanity. I loved my 3 years in Rota, Spain and traveled the Costa del Sol. They were wonderful people to tourists. The best I ever experienced in my travels.

Joni Mitchell - Free Man In Paris (”Court & Spark”)...

One of her best albums although, if push came to shove, I’d choose “Hejira” - truly her masterpiece.

The ONE CHANCE for France to show the world that THEY CARE, and that Trump is a Piece of Crap - and the French BLOW IT.

All the had to do was bend over and take their $7.00, BUT NO, they act like Americans and complain about high taxes.

They should be ASHAMED for themselves.

Same era ? Late 70’s . I traveled from Aviano AB in Italy to join the American Legion Paris Post # 1. and to visit the then new McDonalds for a Big Mac fix !! EuroRail Pass purchased , had a great trip but the destination aka the people of Paris are trash .... I have never been back. Close as I got to france after that was working with the Foreign Legion a few weeks during Desert Storm.....

IMHO arsonist should be shot on sight versus arrested ..... set my community on fire like these yellow bastards ? Boom.

My 2 week trip around Europe was 1980. I've read the Frenchies are still not the best hosts. Yes, the Foreign Legion is their best. Thank you for being there.

"IMHO arsonist should be shot on sight versus arrested."

We used to do that, and I had no problem with it and still don't. It's a capital offense that can and does cause death. I also don't have a problem with shooting rioters or anarchists or migrants trying to injure our BP at the border. There comes a time ...

You know they're planning another mass push tomorrow, Sunday 12/2/18?

“...once boasted he would govern ‘like Jupiter’”

Translation: He would throw a bunch of lightning bolts around at any mortals who dare defy him. Then he would be discarded and forgotten, except in tragic and comic plays written in a dead language.

It’s happening.

The French are reaching the point where they’re finally pushing back.

I wonder how long it will take until we start burning cars in protest of the government expansion.

The Galerie nationale du Jeu de Paume is on fire.

This would be similar to one of the galleries on the Mall in D.C. to be on fire, the Hirshenson Museum of Sculpture, say.

Hmm. Seems like a target for some anti-French anarchist group, not a bunch of citizens who are pissed-off at energy prices. Suspicious.

This all just breaks my heart! I’m in TOTAL solidarity with ANYONE that wants to fight against Socialism, but I’ll admit I am VERY happy that I got to see some of Europe before muzzie invaders, and now, the everyday person, is destroying it.

PLEASE - save the art! PLEASE?

I forgot to mention of friend of mine remastered “Court & Spark” and “Blue” and was kind enough to gift me CDRs burned direct from the master studio tapes - “dry” before any reverb was added for the commercial release.

The “dry” version of “Blue” has extraordinary sound quality - esp the track “The Last Time I Saw Richard”.

Joni always used quality engineers in recording/mixing.

Your statement To be corrected I think. The price of gas is by the liter but a gallon of gas will cost over $7.00 in France after the new increase of tax. It has been over $6.00 for while. It is designed to make French drivers drive less........part of the one world order Agenda 21 which hopes to reduce the world to mass transportation ONLY. Your days of going where you want whenever you want in your own vehicle are LIMITED if the left has its way.I’ve spent decades in France and the French are fed up with politicians who say one thing and do another. Not much different from the USA. That’s one reason why Trump is shaking up the world establishment.

Limbaugh claimed it was $7 tax for a gallon of gas. I know gas is sold by the liter in Europe. I figure when he offered that statement. He made it for his American listeners comprehension and that amount was calculated from sources that knows the differences in volume.

The root of the problem:

"They marched on the famed avenue behind a big banner writing “Macron, stop taking us for stupid people.”

The overwhelming majority of yellow jackets are regular working stiffs who are non-violent.

The anarchist Antifa dirt bags are mixing in and doing their thing, staining the movement, and of course little Macaroni with the help of the MSM is blaming all the peaceful protestors. Of course violence directed randomly against businesses or architecture is not acceptable and should be prosecuted. But that is the product of the anarchists mixing in and not the large majority of working class folks who are fed up with the Frog limousine liberal globalists who are forcing their agenda in regard to fossil fuels upon the working class.

They pay 30% income tax on a very modest salary. They are paying the equivalent of $6-$7 for a gallon of gas or diesel and Macron, being the next Napoleon in his own foggy mind, is convinced he will force migration and alternative energy sources upon these "little people" and they should be oh so very grateful to him for his brilliant leadership. They are so grateful that his approval rating is down near 20% at the moment.

The Yellow Jacket movement has moved to Belgium, Netherlands as well as Germany and it has been a long time coming. For the most part they are the flyover country middle class people of Europe and I applaud them standing up to the Euro liberal globalists.

“Things don’t go well for French leaders who disregard the will of the little folk.”

Yeah, about that, King Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette actually DID care about the little folk. Them disregarding the will of the little folk was Enlightenment/Jacobin propaganda stirred up in order to encite a riot. You really need to read more into that history. If Macron’s like anyone, it’s the rabble-rousers like Voltaire, Diderot, Rousseau, Sade, and especially Louis de Saint Just and Robespierre and Danton, who used the so-calld “little people’s will” to commit regicide and then slaughter the heck out of everyone a’la the Khmer Rouge after having no further use for them.

But I do agree with you: Macron definitely is not a good symptom of Europe right now.

Spanish women have the lowest fertility on earth.

The population will be replaced within the next 50 years.
