Unless Corsi wore a wire it’s his word against theirs.
Assuming he can get away with doing it, is it LEGAL?
My question would be the opposite: “In this day and age, exactly WHY doesn’t every interrogator have to submit videotape of his entire interrogation???”
”. . . and this is judgement, that light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light because their deeds were evil."

“But I can’t imagine Mueller’s team didn’t check for that if they were going to be making threats and suborning perjury.”

There are a lot of ways to do a secret recording. However, if you’re going to do this you have to be in a one party consent jurisdiction. Mueller’s team probably made Corsi sign a statement that recording devices were prohibited (I do this in my medical clinic). If you record illegally, you’ll just be in more trouble and the evidence will not be admissible.

So Corsi was interviewed 19 times, maybe he did at one point. But you really have to wonder why Corsi would’ve talked to a creep like Mueller. As a journalist Corsi certainly would have known Mueller’s history of intimidating witnesses and suborning perjury in Boston.
