About 2 years ago I listened to one of this guys lectures. utter gobbledygook. Turns out he's crazier than a hoot owl.
I’m a nice guy unless you screw with my country and then I got to kill you so you learn a lesson. It’s a teachable moment.
LOL...it happens all the time.
I can’t relate to wanting rough winters, but to each his own. I did want all four seasons though, which we do have. We get a good snow every couple of years. Everything shuts down and every kid builds a snowman in the front yard. Then, it’s usually melted by the next evening. That’s enough winter for me...lol
Ugh...I wish I had known about your nephew’s wife...I’d have shown her the liberal paradise right up the road, known as Asheville NC, and gotten them out of our hair! :p
That’s where I recommend my wife’s liberal friends move to. They’re still close enough that she can see them, but they don’t pollute our voting...lol
At least until I can't take the input overload anymore.
I misread your post.
You will be happy to hear that they DO live in NC :)
We dodged a bullet! lol
I would substitute the word, ruthless, for the word, cruel. Otherwise, I concur.
I have been in ministry. I spent five years living under a vow of pacifism (even when once assaulted).
At times, my opponents have been alarmed to discover that I am not weak, and can be ruthless.
As we get older dp, we just have to remember that guile, treachery, cunning, and a good dose of cheating will always win the contest.
Just remember; we didn’t get this old by being stupid.
Im impressed by you. Ive seen people self destruct in good vending routes.
1) Risked his career to fight Bill C-16 in Canada. A bill which requires all Canadians to call trannies by their preferred pronouns (e.g. zer, zhe, etc.) or risk losing their jobs, being fined, and potentially imprisoned.
2) A big supporter of free speech and very much opposed to "hate speech" legislation
3) Currently on a worldwide tour lecturing out of his best-selling book '12 Rules for Life' which is getting thousands of millennials to take responsibilities for their lives
4) Has ripped many a libtard a new-one on TV.
5) Has helped convert many younger people to conservatism or libertarianism
6) Opposes third wave feminism at every opportunity
He's a left-leaning libertarian/moderate liberal that is a gateway for many to move right. He deserves our support, best wishes, and prayers.
If all he accomplishes is to put two ideas into the heads of the young: 1) take responsibility for your life, 2) allow other people to express their views even if you disagree, then conservatives will have a much better chance of advancing our agenda.

I guess you’re referring to his little speech to s son. That truly is something to listen to often to drill the right attitude.
The Rocky series was an all-American story. And then we had Forrest Gump in 1994 — who was kind of an anti-hero in a way.
You can mark the course of a nation by looking at its best films. Not sure Hollywood has the Right Stuff anymore to produce another Rocky series. Stallone was an original and he broke entrepreneurial ground.
Thanks for the post, Rooster.
I would prefer if Peterson was a bit more personable. If I was in his college classrom, I’m not sure I would enjoy being there because he lectures a bit too strongly.
What happened to the Socratic method? I think he should mellow his approach. Smile a bit more. Tone down some of the fire and brimstone. It would sharpen his message.
My liking is a guy like Nassim Taleb. Hard to listen to because of his accent, but a great learning experience and I tend to grin more times when I listen to him.
Here’s a Google lecture on his new book, Skin in the Game. Great message for small government and curing a lot of America’s economic problems.

THAT was what I picked up on.
His runnong language has two ideas in every sentence.
I called it input overload.
Jordan Peterson is not perfect but he is very very good. I bought and gave his book to a nephew who was getting married. As for me... I have listened to his podcasts while exercising. This guy is worth listening to.
One of his best is his introduction to the new edition of Solzenicyn Gulag Archipelago

actually the youngers love him and he has rock star status among young intelligent men and woman.
Exactly but I would say Jordan is right wing. But he knows left wing vindictive psychology. So he flys under their radar. Very skillfully. Tucker does the same.
Forrest Gump was the beginning of “a white male can be a good man if he is slightly mentally slow but that’s the only time”
I’m way crazier than a hoot owl, whatever that is :)
so I loved him right away!
Ah, you didn’t.
I got this old IN SPITE of being stupid :)
