I was raised an Evangelical before that's what they were called. Can you explain to me why some Evangelicals claim the original KJV of the Bible is the only true translation? The ones I have asked either thought I was mocking them or that I was a ‘heathen’.

they have always maintained that Protestants were going to hell. I was told this by all my catholic friends in early grade school. That’s what the Catholic church teaches. It is presently masquerading as a Christian denomination to suck people in and take complete control. That’s what its always been about...control and power over the masses. In the middle ages it burned at the stake thousands of so called heretics as did the so called high protestant churches such as the Anglican/Episcopal type churches.
