Don’t accuse the GOP establishment of weakness. Mitch isn’t showing weakness. He’s standing strong - for big donors who want America flooded with unskilled workers who will drive wages down. Mitch is standing strong for big-money oligarchs, and against average Americans

Pssssst, Mitch - there was a really good reason why you weren’t invited.

Simple alternative: We give up the border wall funding in exchange for a surtax-- $1 of border wall funding for every dollar spent on illegal aliens. If we spend $30,000 per year per illegal alien jailbird, then the same $30,000 goes into the border wall funding. If a state like New Jersey or California provides them a multimillion dollar fund for legal assistance to remain here, then a matching amount is diverted from those states for border wall funding. If NJ or California doesn't like funding the border wall, they just cut back on what they spend on illegals.

Ultimately border wall security is paid for by benefits to illegal aliens. The open borders crowd is forced to choose between paying for what illegal aliens need or what citizens need . . . or both. That's how you sell it politically.

IF Mitch had any guts at all, he'd go to 51 votes to pass all the legislation including $25 Billion for the WALL, E-Verify, end to chain migration, lottery, etc.

Of course, he'd have to threaten the lives' of a few and count on Pence's vote.

Though it IS possible to have both, would you rather have a Wall in early 2019 or a brief shutdown at the end of 2018?

“The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion”

US Constitution, Article IV, Section 4

$3 billion for wall
$2 billion other border measures
$2 billion for Border Patrol hiring

Get it done!

Mitch isn’t tone deaf. He’s defending the interests of big donors. They want to keep wages down with massive immigrant of unskilled workers. He doesn’t care what average Americans think, so the tone of his comments means nothing to him

Border Security
1. Allow Army and Marine personnel to take leave of absences of up to 52 weeks duration, with military command approval, to join the Border Patrol and assist in its operations, with a $800/week Border Patrol salary and their military pay and benefit package.
2. Allow the Director of Homeland Security to specifically designate border security areas as shoot on sight/fire as appropriate zones.
3. Denounce [get out from under] the “Convention and Protocol Relating to the Status of Refugees”.
4. Change US statutory asylum law effective one year after service of denounciation [i.e. ASAP] to end welfare and top-speed naturalization perks.
5. Allow invading minors, alleged and actual, to be held pending final disposition of their cases, with their (alleged) parent(s), or otherwise, as the President and the USCIS may see fit.

Chain Immigration
1. Curtail (per Goodlatte bill) chain immigration effective upon enactment into law.

If the border gets tightened up, Mitch will have a harder time meeting with his Chinese business partners.

“Of course, he’d have to threaten the lives’ of a few and count on Pence’s vote.”

And he still could not gather 51 votes from the FECKLESS Republicans.

He’d better talk to his Democrat colleagues to convince them not to shut down the government.

Mitch doesn’t want the wall, don’t you get it? This isn’t about him lacking courage. He’s not “chickening out”. He simply doesn’t want to protect our borders. Those are the orders he’s been given by big donors, and he’s following their orders.
