A shutdown doesn’t affect most people. Social Security checks still go out, Trump may leave the national parks and WH open. The biggest winners are the workers that get a vacation that is paid for when they return.
Please write, email or call Mitch and tell him you support a “shutdown” in order to get border wall funding. Maybe we can have some influence on him.
If you’d get to work there would be no shutdown.

I think the American people, paying the taxes, want a shutdown. The US cannot afford the drain of illegal immigrants. But I guess Congress thinks we have unlimited resources.
Neither party’s leadership respect the President or fear the President. It’s time for that to change and the only way that will happen is for the President to stand his ground and either get his $5 billion or shut it down.

Trump should never have said that. He should never use the word ‘blame’ when it comes to protecting the country. Its his solemn responsibility to do that.
Saying he will accept blame is tacitly admitting there is something wrong with what he’s doing. Never, ever back down or give the Dems an inch. Keep them on the defensive at all times.
