Yeah, I’d guess both.
I could imagine the EU payoffs could be substantial somehow too.

Word is out that France is bankrupt, that Germany keeps it afloat. Germany finances much of the EU which is a farce. UK needs a hard Brexit. And get out of the German orbit.

As long as she follows her EU bosses, and delivers REMAIN wrapped up as BREXIT, she will have fulfilled her mission, so it matters not that she will not run again.

She belongs with Macron, Merkel, and the rest of the tyrants.

Piece of tyrant scum, that she is.

I prefer this one from the Boys From Swindon....

XTC - The Wheel & The Maypole
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nuk8Ie8i3Pw

Maypole
Maypole
Maypole you’ve spun me round and knocked me off my axis mundi
Maypole
Maypole
Maypole the ties that bind you will unwind to free me one day
and everything decays

Yes, everything decays
Forest tumbles down to make the soil
Planets fall apart
Just to feed the stars and stuff their larders
And what made me think we’re any better
and what made me think we’d last forever
was I so naive?
of course it all unweaves

Pyramids and palaces to dust
Empires crumble in
Wedding cake begins to must and molder
And what made me think we’re any better
and what made me think we’d last forever
was I so naive?
failing to perceive

It’s pretty funny. Couldn’t happen to a bigger bunch of arrogant idiots than the Brits. They always love laughing at other countries’ problems. Who are the WOGS now?

Not my monkeys, not my circus.

Don’t you hate it when foreigners tell you how to vote?

The 2022 General Election is on 5 May 2022. The Tories will want to have the new PM in place for at least two years before the election to allow them to build a positive record in office and work out a proper manifesto.

This means that Theresa May will be a backbencher by Spring of next year. Probably resigning after the UK leaves the EU in March.

She won’t leave Parliament until 2022 due to the Tories having the bare minimum number of seats (with the DUP) to form a government.

“The problem is that the referendum was a constitutional innovation in the UK, with no measures taken before the voting to bind the Crown in Parliament (the actual sovereign) to the result.”

The Act of Parliament authorizing the referendum did not contain a single word spelling out what would happen if it passed.

Shouldn’t the fact that they even had to take a confidence vote tell her she has to go?

Correct, and there is no precedent in English history to suggest that people voting on a issue should have precedence over Queen, Lords, and Commons.
