Dont admonish him. Dingleman should be reminded how fortunate that Dingle district voters are monumentally ignorant,
easily led, and lack even a modicum of critical thinking........ electing dinglers in perpetuity, controlling the seat for same House seat for 86 years.

Great idea, rt:

Dingell is kvetching about "the complete collapse" of respect for government since he first held office and "an unprecedented cynicism about the nobility of public service itself."

No doubt Pol Pot, Mao Zedong, Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin, Castro, etc. all thought exactly the same thing.

Tearing up the Constitution is definitely on their to-do list.

Dingleberry is a perfect example of the Deep State that he pretends doesn't exist. We have unelected bureaucrats in the government that have been there so long, they protect their rice bowl with a fierce tenacity and corruption.

Every federal agency should be framed to everyone of Obama's 57 states. Our telecom and cloud infrastructure can support this.

This is a well-accepted practice in corporate America. If you want to get rid of deadwood, then move the business.

General Electric anticipated their stock was going to tank so they moved their HQ from Connecticut to Boston. In the process a ton of executives quit.

If we move the government departments, we gain in numerous ways.

  1. We can easily cut the federal government salaries by 50% as salaries in Montana are much lower than they are in DC.
  2. Tons of DC swamp critters will quit.
  3. We spread the federal wealth to the States, proportionately by State population.
  4. We can move the agencies to rural areas saving even greater money on buildings and other infrastructure.

Furthermore, every twenty years we should rotate the location of each agency, further prevent swamp critters and fat cats from becoming too comfortable.

It is in Trump's authority to do this!

Mob rule.

No need for a constitution if you have a pure democracy.

"an unprecedented cynicism about the nobility of public service itself."

It depends on which definition of "noble" Dingell is referring to. If by noble he means high moral principles and ideals, then maybe there is some of that in public service (although that is even iffy). But I suspect Dingell's (and most other politicians, frankly) definition of noble has him viewing himself and his colleagues as aristocrats with higher status than the rest of us plebes.

“What is this - a f***ing aristocracy?!

That’s exactly what it is.

We are sorely needing some corrections in our government.

My point about showing the palace is this expose their life style; Communist Pigs. Who have used their government positions feeding off the state and federal government troughs at the expense of taxpayers to advance themselves and live like Tzars. And should be recalled or impeached

Love your comments...only one thing to add:

“ALL” government employees, elected or otherwise, will be in Washington D.C. for a period of 100 days ONLY...no one will live there, there will be Hotels, Motels for their time there to rent, which the State they represent will pay for; The Pentagon, National Security shall remain where it is, but we only need the people to staff it not over stuff it...

Each elected or unelected government employee shall have ONE office in each State, maintained financially by said State funds as is their wages...

Our United States Government will be run ‘by the people, for the people and of the people’ in said State; if a problem arises, there are cell phones, fax machines etc. to gather such information as needed, all equipment, paper, etc. to be paid by each State...

Now getting to the POTUS...we elect him to protect our Nation, make sure that the corruption we are seeing today doesn't happen, (but how do we know the person we elect is not corrupted already) we don't; we are lucky to have President Trump, but I wouldn't go that far with anyone else...so The President resides at his home in his State, and the rest of the States contribute to the wages, necessary plane trips, etc. that he must make...that doesn't include ‘vacations’ for him and or his wife and family...those must be paid out of their pockets not ours...(Obamas ring a bell???)...

I do believe this would cut down on the government ‘federal budget’ as there would not be a need for a ‘federal budget’ as each State handles their own Senators and Representatives and their wages, supplies, etc...(I think in about a year of this plan, there would be ONE Senator and ONE Representative per State instead of what we have with hundreds of workers working for them and us paying for them)...

Put the ‘Government’ back in the States and let the people of the State have hands on running, like our State Legislature people...no need for them if Our Senators and Representatives are where they belong: IN THE STATE THEY REPRESENT!!!

If John Dingaling, Jr., is worried about American majorities, why doesn’t he just support government by initiative and referendum? That will go sooooooooo well . . .

You’re right, HL. 100 days a year is all they need in DC. Fair enough. A city like DC will thrive just fine.

In fact, we would doing the DC population a favor. Look at Bezos of Amazon. He decided to move one of his new headquarters outside DC. And the telecom infrastructure and buildings the government no longer needs will be absorbed by business!

I’ll bet the new private industry in DC will raise the money to clean by the dirty subway system there.

It’s a fantastic city to do business. And there’s a lot of brainpower there! Trouble is, we need those folks working for private industry, not feathering their fat cat nests.

And Trump can accomplish this. There’s nothing in the Constitution saying the government has to live in a single city.

Congressional votes can happen over the internet. And doing it that way will probably be more secure! LOL.

Let the Washington Post send their reporters out to every State to gather their stories. Move the State Department to Alaska. In fact, whichever agency needs the most trimming, that’s the agency we move to the least desirable States.

Think of the money we’ll save! It all comes back to We the People!

Hey, Dingell....somebody forget to remind you that this is a republic & that the Electoral College serves an important function; like preventing people like yourself from running roughshod over a large part of the country?
