The Windy Tucker Carlson Said He Cannot Stand Trump's Self-aggrandizement and Boasting

From an article in the Washington Post the other day:

Tucker Carlson says Trump is ‘not capable’ and hasn’t kept his promises

washingtonpost.com ^ | December 6, 2018 | Deanna Paul

*****************

Vanity:

"Carlson said he cannot stand Trump’s self-aggrandizement and boasting.'

______________________

Speaking as one who will vote for and heavily support DJT in the future, one thing must be said.

The President will have a much more difficult time winning a second term if he doesn't make some adjustments that are addressed in the quoted remark above.

His never ending BOASTING is losing him millions of votes.

To quickly change that (loss of votes) is quite simple.

Examples: 1. Instead of saying "I WON this ...." he should always say, WE won this for the country" .... 2. "TOGETHER WE created the strongest economy for our country and its people" etc., etc.

***********

I know that there are many here who respond by saying , "he has to tweet, he has to get his news out, the MSM won't". That is true, let him tweet all he wants, but the problem is simply the wording of the tweets and all his remarks concerning his accomplishments.

He must REMOVE the word "I" when talking about accomplishments. Everyone knows he's the center of the successful achievement.

If his constant boasting bothers even me, I can see how gross it is to those who have doubts about him to begin with.

(Women, as a rule, do not like men who find the need to brag after they have succeeded at something.)

If D.J.T. wants a second term he has to get rid of the word "I", and speak of his accomplishments for the country ...NOT AS "WINS" but as "achievements or successful efforts" for the good people of America.

This “wall” issue is becoming Trump’s albatross. If he doesn’t deliver, it’s going to be like Bush 1’s “no new taxes”. No wall...no second term. Plain and simple, the constant tsunami of Bullshit not helping.

Donald Trump as Demian's Cain??

*******

https://www.sparknotes.com/lit/demian/section2/

An interpretation of a few pages from the book "Demian" by Hermann Hesse.

*******

A new student, Max Demian, appears in Sinclair's school. The son of a wealthy widow, Demian was a year older than Sinclair, but seemed almost adult. During one of Sinclair's scripture classes, Demian was forced to sit in and write an essay. After school, Demian approached Sinclair and began to engage him in conversation. They discussed Sinclair's house, about which Demian seemed to have a bit of knowledge. He told Sinclair that the arch above the doorway contained a coat of arms resembling a sparrow hawk.

Demian then brought up the subject of the day's lecture—the story of Cain and Abel.

****

Demian then offers Sinclair a way of reading the Cain and Abel story that differs from what he learned in class. Demian argues that Cain's mark was something more of an air about him—he was a man of whom others were in awe. People, unable to deal appropriately with men of true worth, incorrectly interpreted this sign as indicating that Cain was in some way evil. Scared of Cain and upset because they were scared, people slandered him since it was their only available revenge. The notion that Cain was marked as evil, then, is to be dismissed as a fabrication of the weak.

*************

Before and after I first read this book about fifty years ago, I have felt that individuals who are supremely strong and accomplished are often put down (marked) by the weak as being evil.

Donald J. Trump gets this treatment.

That’s what I don’t understand. Obama talked about himself all the time with zero accomplishments, yet women still voted for him.

Your point is well taken! However, I’ve noticed a lurch to the left by some of the perceived conservatives on Faux Snooze! Trying to look good for the Murdoch boys? No hero worship here! But, unlike the last two Presidents, he gets my respect!

"Tucker Carlson says Trump is ‘not capable’ and hasn’t kept his promises"

"Judges" and "tax cuts" come to immediate mind.

Maybe Tucker was drunk.

Maybe the FBI transcribed the interview.

With 24 hour, 7 days a week, media spreading lies about Trump, tucker can call it boasting, but I call it defending what all Trump does for us. No one else tells the public the good side.

I have a relative who listens to “local new” and for the most part, she believes it.. that’s all she hears. How many are there out there who do likewise? People who don’t want to think for themselves, being fed by the fake media!

Hey Chatsworth. . .tsk, tsking doesn’t help. Let Trump be Trump. . .we like it just fine. . .it ain’t boasting if it’s true. Trump talks big and DOES big. . .unlike Obama who talked big and did nothing but destroy the nation. Polite humble mice are a dime a dozen. Trump is the rare lion who fights. . .our Republic would be dead had he not won and that he continues is our last chance to keep it.

This quisling is the essence of Fox News. FOX NEWS IS NOT YOUR FRIEND. Go to One America News because OAN IS what Fox used to pretend to be. Carlson is still wetting his pants over antifa banging on his door so he thinks he can suck up to them and they will leave his family alone. Ha ha if that happened it would be the first time in history a blackmailer willingly let sa victim go. The fast Faux News dies the better.

Here we go again...

All through the Bush years FReepers complained that Bush didn’t fight back against the putrid press. Bush was a squish, and we need a fighter.

Now we have a fighter in Trump, and people are complaining. BTW, Bush the squish left office with a 28% approval rating.

This place can be maddening and overbearingly schizoid.

I don’t disagree. It is the same way people of strong faith are ridiculed because they hold themselves to a higher standard.

There is never any use arguing with them (unless they are doing something illegal.). You will never change their mind.

You oversimplify the matter.

If you want an explanation, let me know. I'm a crappy typist.
