I am a nationalist, not a Republican. And I used to be a reader of The Weekly Standard until they revealed themselves as nothing more than a propaganda rag for war merchants and big-government globalists.

Thank you Philip Anschutz for killing this POS rag. If the neocons had even some small measures of success to interrupt their string of failures over the last three decades, maybe there’d be an argument to be had. But they don’t. From H.W. getting tossed to the Iraq War disaster to McCain and Romney, it’s just been one giant fail after the next for everything they’ve been allowed to get their hands on.

The cessation of something that really wasn’t all that intellectual can hardly be called an intellectual crime. The only political crime may be that this so-called political rag lasted this long.
