Very interesting.

The idolization of novelty puzzles me. I like novelty too; however, I can satisfy the taste for novelty in ways that don’t have a real impact on other people. Things like, trying a new food, or wearing socks with cats on them. I’m sure that makes me boring to the people you are talking about!

Agree mostly. Think the word represents is inaccurate. Think that there are operations by the mind e.g. rational thought and by the brain e.g. storing memory and perceptions. The operations of both influence each other.

Feeling should agree with rational thought so that both are strengthened.

Aristotelian I think.
