NY.gov ^ | 12/18/2018 | NY AG Press Release

Posted on 12/18/2018 8:03:07 AM PST by GIdget2004

Today, Attorney General Barbara D. Underwood announced that – following a court decision in favor of the Attorney General – the Trump Foundation has signed a stipulation agreeing to dissolve under judicial supervision, with review and approval by the Attorney General of proposed recipient charities of the Foundation’s remaining assets.

This stipulation follows the court decision last month allowing Attorney General Underwood’s lawsuit against the Trump Foundation to move forward.

Attorney General Underwood’s lawsuit sought the dissolution of the Foundation under judicial supervision and with the oversight of the Attorney General's Charities Bureau. The lawsuit – which also seeks millions in restitution and penalties and a bar on President Trump and his three eldest children from serving on the boards of other New York charities – remains ongoing.

As I understand it the kids were running it. Presumably especially Eric, since that seemed to be his special niche.

Outwardly it looks like they played a little hard and fast with the rules. Unfortunate considering that they were in it to give away money, not underhandedly rake it in.

Charitable causes have been a huge scam for a long time. All of the Kennedys and of course the Clintons have lived very well from "doing good". Living the jet set life for appearances at the charitable functions. Collecting huge salaries for being a figurehead.

"why his kids"

Like good nazis, the left believes in collective punishment, and attacking the families of people who disagree with them. It is all about asserting control.

Looking at the full court press by the entire deep state against Trump, and by extension those who voted for him, in the last election has demonstrated to me why it is not a good idea to run for president, ever. I would not mind being Generalissimo with unlimited powers though because the deep state would not be able to out run my armory. That is what it is going to take to straighten this place out IMO.

I think the “self-dealing” argument against the Trump foundation is morally bogus.

There is a ton of the non-profit charity INDUSTRY that is bogus, in that much of it exists just to keep employed the highly paid professionals that work it, mostly to their benefit - their jobs - and less than ought to be in actual charitable benefits.

It should be called the non-profit charity industrial complex.
