What the hell is a transgender birthday cake? Do they eat it differently? Are the designs on the cake different? What could they possibly do other than make a blue cake for a boy and a pink one for a girl. They could bake a yellow one for the undecided. Next thing they will be wanting a baby shower for a transgender baby to be.
In the article right after the excerpt the below is stated:

Any ideas? how about a barby doll cake with Ken turning around or going into a tunnel on the cake and coming out Barbie? An inscription on a cake could read “ I’ve been Queer for Seven Year”. The federal judge should have cited the recent Supreme Court ruling and found for the baker and awarded him legal fees.
