Exactly. I got a good chuckle tonight at FReeper commenting he was going to look for a “real conservative for 2020 primaries.” LOL.
It’s clear the GOP intend to drive Trump from office one way or another and then retire enmass to K Street like Corker and Flake. We’ll never even get a chance to vote their treasonous behinds out of office.
I wonder if it has anything to do with that letter of intent Trump signed back in 2015 for the tower in russia they reported this morning. Does not seem important to me, but the msm is up in arms about it.
Protesting is all we have left, the antifa has taken protesting from the conservatives, when is the last time you saw a conservative protest?
In my city we have antifa running ammok a few times and week and messing up traffic, frankly I am tried of it!
They are not going into recess. mcconnel will not alow Trump to make recess appointments or take control of the executive branch in any way.
And yet POTUS continues to give the GOP top cover by blaming the Democrats for this mess in his tweets. That for me is the final kick in the gut.

I know, I was almost late to my daughter’s bithday because there was an ‘impromtue’ ‘march’ on the street that was on my way to the steakhouse, if I could I would have gone another way, but we were only a few blocks away and couldn’t turn down any other steets.

Senate approves bill denying funds for border wall. Republicans in Senate vote against securing the border, against defending American, against Trump. None stood to back America and Trump.
Yes, agreed, his Never Again is no different than George Bush Senior’s No New Taxes. Trump crosses this line and he might as well cancel his re-election efforts. He was elected to build the wall, fail that, he loses.

You’d imagine the lame duck house would put their mark down, but hey, gotta show their belly when faced with nearly any confrontation.
This is an issue that can be won. There was no reason to put it off for two weeks after Bush died except to set up this exact scenario. A majority, including a majority of democrats, favor effective border control. If you don’t try to rally the people, then you won’t win. I know the President isn’t comfortable with scripted speeches, but that’s what’s needed here.. prime time address. Everyone will watch. I’d bet a hundred bucks we get rolled in February; which is about as hard as predicting it will get hot every July and cold every December. Read the article. See the merriment in the Senate. They’re laughing at us.
Well, if Trump doesn’t get to recess appoint it will be solely the result of Mitch’s perfidy.

Didn’t he say in front of Pelosi and Schumer in very forceful terms that he would gladly shut down the the government If he didn’t get money for the wall? We all cheered him. If he folds on this, Pelosi and Schumer will be rolling on the floor laughing, we’ll look like idiots for believing him, and he loses all credibility.
He simply cannot sign this.
