Perfect set up for one.

You are right about that.

But I don't think the President and all his men see it that way.

Still hopin'.

Hate to say it but this surrender on the wall has Democrat Jared’s fingerprints all over it. He’s suddenly become very prominent with Kelly’s ouster. We have his Christmas for Criminals, a sudden climb down on Syria to placate Turkey most likely and finally a soften of POTUS on the hot button immigration issue. Not looking good. Kushner has been a disaster for POTUS in the WH yet he keeps him around.

Are you already having a meltdown when he hasn’t even finished 25% of his time in the White House?

I sense a loss of patriotism.

***

I sense a shill.

The latest strategy by ShareBlue and the paid agitators is pretending to be ‘disappointed conservatives.’

I’m seeing them all over the place on FR and on r/t_D.

Report and ignore.

I don’t disagree.

But a president will always find someone in the group who steadies him up, or seems to.

Sometimes it isn’t the right guy.

Kicking the can down the road is what politicians of both parties excel at. Most especially the feckless GOP.

Republicrats/Demicans - A pox on both their houses!

Yep Mr. Trump had no idea how deep and corrupt the “swamp” really is.

Can’t drain a swamp when your up to your eyeballs in alligators.

I fail to see this as anything other than pathetic congressional cowardice.

I’m sure this is just 4d chess. You know Art of the Deal, master negotiator, all that.

It’s just 7 weeks. Trump will sign it. He can veto the next one 7 weeks from now if they can’t reach a deal.

The amount of doomsayers on here is appalling. Let Trump do his thing. He’s a billionaire and you’re not.

Trump not doing it the way you want, doesn’t mean Trump isn’t in our corner.

So Jared is running the White House now?
That would explain a lot.
Was Jared a registered Democrat like Ivanka?

This is where I’m at also, he needs to veto it. Put them all on the record for an override if that happens. The voice vote signals fear from Senate Rs

Why veto one in 7 weeks? Why not now? there is no explanation, especially as only a week ago he spoke very strong.

Mitch McCainell surrenders once again. It is the only thing he does really well.

“”It does baffle me why Trump, or anyone in conservative media for that matter, have not made a big deal about mcconnel not putting the senate into recess. But I still stand behind Trump, there is and was no one better to vote for. And I believe Trump is doing everything he can for the good of America. I’m sure the pressure and roadblocks we are seeing are only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to what Trump is up against. But I do get frustrated too.””

I agree! Except we have a conservative media? I missed it ;) (altho I don’t have tv service; internet only)

My goodness I was naive about trump. I went all in and I lost.

Just how long do you think one man can stay on his feet while being pummeled from all sides?

Even the strongest men have their breaking point. If anything, we should all be sending messages of encouragement to our president in this dark hour.

No one in living memory has fought harder for us than he has.

Call the White House ... 1-202-456-1414

That number does not accept comments. Here's the White House comment line: 202-456-1111.

POTUS is punting because the GOP still control the House and the longer this goes on the more apparent it is that GOP doesn’t want a wall either. That fact will massively depress GOP turnout in 2020 and is the last thing they want known.

I have no doubt we’ll get beltway shut down theater in January. But of course it will amount to nothing with Democrats running the House.
