President Donald Trump vowed Thursday not to sign any Democrat funding bills unless it included money for border security.
“What they are just beginning to realize is that I will not sign any of their legislation, including infrastructure unless it has perfect Border Security,” Trump wrote on Twitter.
It is unclear whether Trump was again promising a partial government shutdown on Friday despite the Senate passing a continuing resolution on Wednesday or whether he was referring to upcoming funding battles in 2019 after Democrats take the House.
Trump accused Democrats of “putting politics over country” when it came to border security.
He did not comment on the continuing resolution passed by the Senate on Wednesday night to keep the government open.
Conservatives spent most of Wednesday begging the president to fight for border wall funding, even if it meant a partial shutdown of the government.

Well, he’s now using their preferred term designed to fool us, “border security”. That means paying for ICE, Border Patrol, buildings, etc. Nothing new. No wall. It’s designed to trick us and he’s using it too.
Could be the hesitation to release is b/c Republicans are also involved.

These threats by Trump are starting to sound a lot like McConnell’s. “Wait ‘till next time.” (I will think up another excuse)
I don’t buy this that he will lose if he doesnt’ get the wall. Talk radio hammers that point daily. I think it’s destructive.

The dems love working on Christmas Eve. They proved that by signing the obummercare bill on a Christmas Eve around midnight. They don’t care about their families or anything else except power. Power is their addiction and boy are they addicted bad.
Paul Ryan’s budget bill early this year included a provision you could not use funds from any other government sector to fund the wall. Make sure those provisions are stripped out and that you can use military funds to do it if you so choose. Five billion less won’t make a difference to the military. It would be nice if you could use the funds going to sanctuary cities to build it though.

Regulations down.
More jobs than workers.
Salaries up.
89% of companies forecast improved sales for 2019.
Gas down.
We export natural gas.
Dems can raise taxes and Senate can refuse to go along and Trump can veto.
Ds can effect the stock market. D companies can commit hari-kari and fire workers if they are willing to lose sales and if their stockholders all agree.
It might get hairy in the market, but I think the economy does fine.
I have skin in that game. My business sales have increased. Not back to 2007 levels, but on the way. A low price-point item sold into a narrow niche market. So, I watch the forecasts.
Release all the names. Republicans also involved? Who cares? Expose and expunge them all.

It is quite obvious...Schumer actually came out and said that border security will be an issue in 2020...
In other words, the damn democrats don’t give a crap about border security in 2018 or 2019...Only for it to be an issue in 2020 they can use for defeating President Trump and their own re-election...
He just admitted they care absolutely nothing about America, American people, or American security...
It sounds like Trump is saying he won’t shut down the govt (which is running on spending already approved) but will not sign any NEW spending bills (infrastructure, etc.) offered by Democrats without border security funding, (whatever that means).
Trump is going to sign. What’s the point of shutting down 8% of the govt. He’s not even getting the $1.6 billion now. All border funding has been stripped. When Trump leaves office in 2024 he still won’t have that border wall funding.
The Dems want The border open and The GOP wants The border open. That’s not going to change. The only way Trump is going to drain the swamp and build the wall is to declare martial law and then just do it. Trump could shut the govt down for a year and they wouldn’t give him the money. I think he’s finally realized that.
He will sign it. Same as last year. Bet the house on it.
