I disagree: With very few contrarians (read: conservatives) to disrupt things, the RINOpublicans became the Controlled Opposition Party (COP) that replaced the Grand Old Party (GOP) after WWII, when the Kristol-type (Irving, not William) Neoconservatives usurped the party.
That is why they have hated nationalists and conservatives ever since: Goldwater, Reagan, Buchanan, Trump.
They are very united in blocking Trump and furthering the DemoKKKrat agenda.
