My latest: The only way a #BorderWall will get built is if @realDonaldTrump uses executive power to do it. The president has the funds available & the authority to build the wall on his own without congressional approval.

What Rush is talking about today. And Mark Levin also commented...

Yes, the president CAN build the wall! https://t.co/K4RDyLb9Cp— Mark R. Levin (@marklevinshow) December 24, 2018

Maybe he can get the money elsewhere.

I prefer he break the Democrats first.

I’m with McConnell. 60 votes.

Break the bastards.

And some Obama judge will stop him for who knows how long. Best to keep this in his back pocket for now.

“Break the bastards.”

That probably won’t happen. Trump has many enemies in the GOPe, ready to stab him in the back.

If more people were sure the money raised for the wall on GoFundMe were really going to the wall, it would skyrocket.

I am very sad with republican party. Remember Trump worked so damn hard to get the party majority for the mid-term? And they promised to get him the wall? And now they leave him alone, siding with enemy and ignore 50 millions American who voted for the wall. Unlike Democrat, Republican party do not stand with American people. They have to stop calling themselves a Lincoln’s party because it’s such disrespected for Lincoln.

I strongly suspected that this was all a ploy to get the demonrats to go on record saying they would not appropriate one cent for border security.

Trump doesn’t always show it because he is a skilled negotiator and clever business man. So while the media gets worked up looking for ways to make a scandal of leaving Syria they haven’t even noticed that we will not be spending billions there next year ...billions of already allocated defense dollars that can now be used to defend our border.

If any of this fails..all the border states have to do is declare secession since the federal government will not do its constitutional duty and protect its borders.

Throw the whole thing into a constitutional crisis and lets see if the scum sucker elites have the guts to do something about it.

You’re foolish if you think any state can leave the union at this point. Later, perhaps, when the economy has crashed and millions are dead or starving, but not now. The iron hand of FedGov will come down on any state that tries it.

Didn’t a year ago because he has to change the argument to show Congress won’t act and there was also the caravan

Doing it with a statutory appropriation would have also been a lot easier legally because it’s a lot harder to challenge a statutuory appropriation than an executive spending allocation. If he does it on his own there will be another injunction and another case going to SCOTUS.

Agree. Let the shutdown run. Let the rats explain why. No lose situation for either DJT or our country.

Oh, and then release all the documents that prove Obama/Hillary criminality.

I think you are spot on. The RATS will own this albatross for years to come. They refused to approve emergency funding for the California wildfire victims, just because they hate Donald Trump.

You didn't think the largest MIL spending bill in history (FY 2019) wasn't going to [indirectly] include funding for the wall did you? Learn the Constitution re: vested powers of POTUS re: matters of NAT SEC. This was planned and forecasted as the 'border funding' solution from the beginning.

Let the Senate force the Democrat Senators to hold a REAL “fillibuster”, that takes REAL time and that makes REAL throats REAL sore....

Since the Democrats act like toads, they might as well sound like toads.
