Yes, they did. Those were the women who actually DO have to wear them. I’m sure they photographed their feet, not their faces, because the consequences of being seen without the coverin would be dire.

Europeans are always going on about how they are opposed to anti-Semitism. So why should’t Voice of Europe propose a day on which all men (including Islamic ones) should wear a yarmulke, in support of Jews?

Why would any woman anywhere want to show solidarity with a religion that treats women as chattel? That physically abuses them as a matter of course. That denies them education, freedom of movement, simple everyday liberties that Western women have taken for granted for centuries.
She is a slave and wishes to see other women enslaved.

This should be done simultaneously with female “genital mutilation” day, since the vast majority of muslim hijab wearers have also had their clitoris destroyed to insure that they keep wearing those hijabs and that they not fully enjoy female sexuality to discourage female adultery.
