Granted it wasn’t yesterday, but look at Russia’s performance is the South Ossetia contretemps; basic military functions that we as Americans take for granted like communication, reconnaissance, supply and control and delivery, the Russians tripped over. China would likely suffer similar shortcomings, knows it, and so won’t go to war.
You would think that nations lacking in technological edge would try to compensate by getting the low-tech stuff like logistics down pat, but for some reason, they don’t.
Civil War II will occur before WW III
The Democrat Reveling over the House take over is a call to war that we must be ready and able to suppress.

I think they would love it if we tried to get violent. That would play right into their hands. They own the courts and federal law enforcement agencies. We need to take a page out of Ghandi. Civil disobedience should be applied first before violence. A national strike, blocking roads with cars and trucks, withdrawal all of our money from the banking system, massive boycotts. These are just a few ideas. I think the good working people of America could be heard if we engaged in widespread orchestrated events of civil disobedience. Violent action may be needed but only as a last resort.
Ah, makes sense. My gut reaction was I would have let my kid go, second reaction was I don’t have kids so I wouldn’t know. I guess most freshmen would be pretty green for non-parental supervises international travel.
She has been plenty of safe places overseas. Ain’t going to Red China on my dime.
